Happy Manicure Monday - I hope you all had a great weekend! Can we believe it's the last Monday of September?! Bio Sculpture released their Fall collection and it's this stunning, so I'm glad I'm sneaking in swatches this month!
This collection was received as PR samples
The BioSculpture Fall polish collection is called "Pride of Nature" - it is celebrating the brands 25th Anniversary and it is inspired by the majestic beauty of Canada (as a Canadian, you know I love this!) This collection has a total of 8 polishes, but because Bio Sculpture is also a gel/salon brand, there is one shade (295 Icebergs), that is just a magnetic gel polish, so there is 7 regular polishes in the collection and I'm sharing swatches of all of them!
These polishes are all $20.50 CAN each and the Bio Sculpture polishes contain plant extract from aloe vera, lemon, and ginseng and they are a vegan and 10-free formula! The #CBBxManiMonday group is doing Fall nails all month, so sharing this collection is perfect, before we all dive in to Halloween nails for next month!
Bio Sculpture Gemini Nourishing Polish No. 290 Island Clay ~ A red-brown clay blend with a golden undertone inspired by the rusty hues of Prince Edward Island.
The Bio Sculpture creme formula is a great polish formula - this one is a little thin, but it applies beautifully and this shade is so stunning! It's super unique in my collection and it's so perfect for Fall.
Bio Sculpture Gemini Nourishing Polish No. 291 Golden Fall ~ A fashionable mustard with shades of brown, black and red to mimic the winter coat of Canada's boreal forests.
This shade also epitomizes Fall - it is a gorgeous mustard, warm yellow tone that looks exactly like Fall leaves! Again, this applies nicely in thin layers and was opaque in two coats!
Bio Sculpture Gemini Nourishing Polish No. 292 Spectrolite ~ A shimmering, dark and iridescent colour with a black setting to enhance the blue-green shades inspired by mystical Labradorite stone.
Okay, this might be one of the most stunning shimmer shades ever - it's a really thick polish, so the base and all the shimmer applies thicker than most formulas, which in this case is great. I don't like when shimmers separate and don't apply well - this looks on the nail, exactly as it looks in the bottle without thinning out. (I hope that makes sense - it's so stunning. A deep black blue with lots of different shades of shimmer!)
Bio Sculpture Gemini Nourishing Polish No. 293 Lake Louise ~ A calm turquoise, reflecting gentle hues of blues and greens that carry peacefulness and tranquility associated with these shades.
Lake Louise is one of the most gorgeous places in the world, so I love this shade - this is a gorgeous blue, and again, great formula, nice and opaque in two coats and wears well!
Bio Sculpture Gemini Nourishing Polish No. 294 Oyster Shell ~ A distinctive warm grey that stands out with a khaki undertone.
Another great tone for Fall, this is a pretty light great - again, a thin formula but one that still looks really nice and is easy to apply and wear.
Bio Sculpture Gemini Nourishing Polish No. 296 Seafoam ~ A soft peachy white colour that brings winter shades together. This classic neutral is inspired by Bay of Fundy seafoam.
This is pretty seafoam inspired shade - this was a thin formula, and just based on the white colour, this one needed three coats to be opaque (as shown in the picture). Whites can be a little finicky, so three thin coats is still easy to work with.
Bio Sculpture Gemini Nourishing Polish No. 297 Sakura Blossoms ~ Drawing inspiration from sakura blossoms, a light pink with hints of white and red to lighten up a cold winter's day.
This is a gorgeous pink - I love the colour and this was nice and opaque in two coats. My only critique is that this pink does look different than the pictures on the site (it's still pretty, just comes across a little more magenta than cherry blossom pink!)
I love this collection overall - I love this inspiration from coast to coast of Canada and everything in between!
