Is it just me or has December just flown by?! I picked up so many new products last month with the intention of trying them all, but this month just went so fast I only tried a few things! So, most the products I'm loving this month are products that are staples in my routine and I've realized while just doing a basic look, how much I love them!
This month is mostly a mixture of makeup products, with a little fragrance (which isn't something I focus on a lot here!) Here's a closer look at the products I have been loving:
Physicians Formula Murumuru Butter Bronzer in "Bronzer" ~ $22.99 CAN. Ultra-luxurious bronzer, infused with Murumuru Butter, delivers a radiant Brazilian goddess glow! Features ultra-refined pearls and soft-focus pigments that smooth skin texture, brighten skin tone and deliver a gorgeous bronze finish. Incredibly creamy and soft texture combines the best features of a powder and cream bronzer to deliver a lit-from-within glow.
This is another classic - I've been using this for over a year as well as used it in my project pan. This is solely based on the product formula, because I will be honest I have not included this previously because of the packaging (it broke pretty quickly and it's bulky with an extra bottom package with some foam applicator that no one wants). The just goes on so smoothly and has easily become my everyday bronzer because I can rely on it to always look good!
Wet N Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Single in Brulee ~ $2.29 CAN. Our improved eyeshadow formula ups the ante on pigmentation with a mix of shimmery go-tos and matte transition shades to blend into the creases of your eyelids.
Okay, this may be a totally basic product in a collection, but it can be easily overlooked and I don't think it should be! I really enjoy the Wet n Wild eyeshadow formula and it is so handy to have my skintone shadow in a single - I can pair it with palettes that don't have a light shadow in it so I'm not dipping in to shadows in other palettes and using them up too quickly! So, I use this every single day as the base shadow to all my looks - it's smooth, applies nicely and is long wearing and a great base!
L.A. Girl Shimmer Spray in Gold ~ $10.00 US/$11.99 CAN. Lock in your look with new Shimmer Setting spray, specially formuL.A.ted to have your makeup looking fresh all day long. Get gorgeous glowing skin with two new Shimmer Sprays. Each spray is infused with pearlescent shimmer for the ultimate illuminating glow. Perfect for face and body!
I received this last year and shimmer setting sprays can be hit and miss for me, but this one is really good! Everything gets a little more matte in the Winter, so this is a nice way to keep things more natural and bright! This one has shimmer particles so you shake it up, but it doesn't come out glittery or with big particles everywhere. This one leaves a pretty sheen to the skin and locks everything in - the only downside is that I sometimes find this brand a little hard to find near me!
Solinotes Eau de Parfum Roll-On - Vanilla ~ $14.00 CAN. Notes: Vanilla, White Flowers, Tonka Bean, White spices.
Oooh - I know that I don't share a lot of fragrances on here and because honestly, I don't wear a lot. I work in a scent free work environment so I mainly wear light body sprays, but I picked this up on a whim when I had a gift card to use. I personally love a good vanilla scent and this one is nice and light and sweet - the hint of tonka beans sweetens it up and makes it so nice! I love the rollerball too and this scents lasts a good amount of time on the skin while smelling good (like a night out or a work day, but would beed to be refreshed in between)!
ColourPop Oogie Boogie Creme Lux Lipstick ~ $10.00 US. Be the best Sandy Claws with ColourPop's sweet The Nightmare Before Christmas Oogie Boogie Lipstick.
I did a whole review of the ColourPop and Nightmare Before Christmas collection - you can check it out here. I was actually worried that this lip shade would be too light on me and I almost didn't pick it up, but it's a lovely light neutral peach shade that looks good with so many looks! I like the formula as well too - it wears comfortably on the lips and looks good!
What were you loving this month?!
