Pantone announced their Colour of the Year for 2022 is "Very Peri" and they created the new colour for the year - it is a mixture of a periwinkle blue and a lavender with violet red undertones. It is a happy, uplifting shade and it's really lovely!
So, for the month of January, the #CBBxManiMonday group is doing purple and blue manicures! I had to go as close to a periwinkle shade as possible for the first manicure, and the snowflakes are because it has been so damn cold and snowy here in Calgary - it's been around -25 since before Christmas (one warm day yesterday), but no warm up in sight right now!
- Revlon Ultra HD Snap Nail Colour in Get Real
- snowflake nail stickers
- OPI Hello Kitty polish in Glitter to My Heart
- Moyra Stamping Nail Polish Top Coat
For this manicure, I started with two coats of the base purple polish. Then, I applied the snowflake stickers to the nails - I cut a few to fit them to the sides and tops of the nails. I added the mixed glitter with white and silver flecks, and coated it around the snowflakes. And, I finished with the nail art top coat.
Here's to hoping it warms up a little soon! As always, make sure to check out Cosmetic Proof and Prairie Beauty Love to see their purple and blue nails too!
