I always love checking out Lush's new products - I've been taking it a little easy since I have a ton of bath products, but I saw a few new skincare products that I couldn't resist picking up!
I purchased these products
Also, how pretty are these lovely new products?! They feel more Springy with the flowers; but, I like pink products any time, so I'm happy to add these to my collection - did you recognize one of these from a Monthly Favourites already?!
Lush Brush Strokes Fresh Face Mask ~ $13.95 CAN. This one is truly a treat. The soothing elixir of rose water and rose absolute caress skin to calm redness while coconut blossom nectar rejuvenates. Carrot seed oil is packed full of nutrients and vitamins to keep your complexion looking healthy and supple. Take your routine to the next level with a golden touch of extravagance—for skin that craves a brush with greatness.
This mask is meant to nourish, hydrate and leave skin feeling soft - the carrot seed oil is rich in nutrients and rose calms and balances the skin while targeting redness.
It is a Fresh Face Mask, so it does need to be stored in the fridge and will come with an expiry date within a week or two!
This is a clay based mask and it applies really smoothly on the face - some of the Fresh Face masks can be pretty thick or crumbly, but this one was a good, smooth texture! It smells a little warm (the cedarwood oil gives it a woodsy smell) and it's a great scent for a Fall masking night!
To use this mask, smooth the mask all over your skin, leave on for 15 minutes then rinse off with warm water, and massage it as you rinse off.
I liked this mask, I thought it was gentle and soothing on the skin - nice and cooling with being in the fridge and my skin felt very soft and smooth. This was a good mask, but I personally prefer Beauty Sleep, Catastrophe Cosmetic, and BB Seaweed and would likely pick those up before picking up this one again!
Lush Illipe Of Faith Sugar Cleanser Roll ~ $13.95 CAN. Trust this perfectly balanced recipe to exfoliate, nourish and calm the skin. Illipe butter is moisturizing and restores the skin’s vitality, while calamine calms redness and golden castor sugar gently scrubs for a fresh finish. Pink clay and kaolin offer a deep cleanse, and leave you with a matte complexion.
Okay, if you've seen my September Monthly Favourites, you know this was a really quickly a favourite of mine! I swapped from physical scrubs to chemical exfoliants a while ago as I prefer gentle exfoliant on my skin; but, I will be honest, I love the feeling of a physical exfoliant. The benefit of this one is that it is very gentle on the face, so it does not feel harsh on the skin!
This is a gentle face scrub and it uses illipe butter to nourish and revitalize the skin, while calamine powder soothes skin redness, and the almond milk moisturizes the skin. The "sugar cleansing roll" piece uses golden castor sugar as the physical exfoliant.
This is a look at the cleanser just as it's been rolled in wet fingers fingers, so it melts so smoothly and quickly. It smells nice and light - a little floral and soft and I really like it!
This scrub is easy to use - break off a piece, massage between wet hands before gliding over the face, then rinse away with water. You can control how much or little water you add to it to control how strong or gentle the scrub is! This was super gentle, smelled good and was refreshing on the skin leaving it's nice and smooth! I really enjoyed this!
