Last month I didn't have any makeup in my Monthly Favourites, so I made up for it this month with a few great makeup products I have been loving all month, and rounded out the top 5 with some seriously great skincare products!
Here's a closer look at my June Favourites:
Natasha Denona Zendo Eyeshadow Palette ~ $87.00 CAN. A warm-toned palette inspired by the Mini Zendo with hues of pink, brown, coral, and peach with pops of turquoise.
This palette is so gorgeous - this size of palette from Natasha Denona is perfect! I love this colour story, it's warm with a hint of cool tones in it, and it's lovely. I've done a whole post with swatches and 3 looks - you can check it out here! The formulas of the eyeshadows are lovely; the mattes are smooth and the metallics are pigmented and beautiful! Gorgeous palette!
Cheekbone Beauty Sustain Lipstick in Aki ~ $32.00 CAN. Say hello to Aki (AH KEE), the perfect blue-red, part of our new SUSTAIN Lipstick Collection! If you've been around this blog, then you've heard me rave already the Cheekbone Beauty Sustain lipstick formula; but, I just picked up this stunning red shade and it and I have to talk about it! It is the most perfect red lipstick I've ever worn (I paired it with their lipliner, which was lovely as well!) - the formula doesn't fully dry down, but still wears really well and doesn't feel smudgy or like it will go everywhere. Another lovely product that I've already done a full review on - you can see it here! I couldn't resist picking up this palette as soon as I saw it released. I have always heard good things about the Benefit face products; but, I'm not a fan of their single product packaging, it's just too bulky for my liking. So, when they release them in this slim, lovely packaging, I had to try this out. This palette comes with an all over face powder, two blushes and a highlighter. The formulas are all great and I've used this so much since I've gotten it! I'm actually considering picking up another one with a bronzer, different blush and highlighter.
Xo Treatment Room Face Care Intergalactic Lactic Acid Serum ~ $89.00 CAN. Intergalactic Lactic Acid is a gentle exfoliating and hydrating peel serum. The combination of acids and enzymes work to even tone and texture on the surface of the skin without the harshness of other AHA’s. With the exfoliation of dull skin cells a brighter complexion is achieved. With the added benefits of Alpha Bisbablol to aid in reducing fine lines, dry skin and stubborn sunspots.
Okay, I have also raved a ton about Xo Treatment Room all year, but the products are so good. This is a heavier acid serum that shouldn't be used too often or you will be over-exfoliating. I use this as Annie, the owner of Xo Treatment uses it: 3 nights in a row, every 3 weeks; but, this could also be used as your weekly intensive serum. The best part is, it is gentle and it doesn't even make my eyes tear up or anything. It works efficiently and effectively! I think I will share a more detailed review!

And, I used to talk about snail-goo and k-beauty all the time and I have been trying other products, but as soon as I tried this serum again, I have been using this for the past 4-5 weeks straight as my nightly serum and it's lovely. My skin feels brighter and smoother and clearer. Overall, this has improved the appearance of my skin!
