When Natasha Denona released the full sized Zendo palette recently, I knew I couldn't resist picking up the palette! It's lovely peachy, orange, reddish with some teal and green - it's a lovely combination of shades. I love the range of shades and finishes and I'm a big fan of the Natasha Denona eyeshadow palette.
I also love this sized palettes in the Natasha Denona formula - it's not as big of an investment as their $200 palettes, but has more variety than only 5 shades. I'm a huge fan of this size palettes and I would certainly pick up more in this size in colour stories that I like!
Natasha Denona Zendo Eyeshadow Palette ~ $87.00 CAN. A warm-toned palette inspired by the Mini Zendo with hues of pink, brown, coral, and peach with pops of turquoise.
This palette is so pretty - it has a pretty even mix of mattes and shimmer/metallic shadows - this palette is said to provide maximum color payoff with minimal effort, ensuring pro-level results. This is a great palette for a range of shades for everyday neutral looks or dramatic evening glam looks!
Mindful ~ medium cinnamon
Luster ~ bronze gold
Balance ~ light medium caramel
Flow ~ medium silver blue teal
Mantra ~ medium greenish teal
Vigor ~ medium muted red coral
Relief ~ light medium pink coral
Equilibrium ~ medium dark silver teal
Breath ~ pastel mint
Tranquil ~ light warm rose
Calm ~ pastel peach
Yama ~ light peach bronze with green reflects
Zeal ~ dark dusty army green
The first look I did is this teal/green/gold look and it's probably my favourite - love how all the shades blend together and I had fun adding a light peachy lip and faux freckles to the look!
For this look I used Breath all in the crease, Zeal in the outer corner and to deepen the crease. Then, I applied Mantra to the middle lid and Yama to the inner lid and corner.
The teals and greens all apply very nicely and were easy to work with - and Yama is a stunning shade, love the duochrome extra shimmery look!
The second look, I went for a neutral orangey copper look - I love the variety in this palette and I love a quick neutral look and I love that this is a little on the orange side of neutral! Makes it stand out a little more than browns.
For this look, I started with Calm in the crease, and Balance to deepen the crease. Then I applied Mindful in the outer corner, Aura to the centre of the lid and Luster on the inner lid.
I love how this look came together - it's a good base for any look. I actually used this eye look in my June Shop My Stash look and paired this with a bold red look and it was the perfect pairing for it!
And the final look is a bolder coral and teal look - I love the combinations of the reds and oranges along with the shimmery blues!
For this look, I started with Balance in the crease, and Vigor in the outer corner and to deepen the lower crease. Then I applied Sense all over the lid and Luster to the inner corner. Then I applied Equilibrium to the lower lash line with a little Flow to buff it out.
Overall, I love the bold look - I'm really happy with all the shadows in this palette and the variety of looks I can get with this!
Overall, I'm really happy with this palette! I think all the mattes were easy to apply and blend! The shimmers were pigmented and apply best with a finger or wet brush! The variety is lovely and this is perfect for Summertime!
What do you guys think about this palette?
