I purchased all these products myself
If you've been around here for a while, you know I like me some Shark week - I always think the shows are information and interesting, can you believe it has been around since 1988?! (I was only 2 then!)
For the next two months, the CBBxManiMonday is doing Summer nails so what's more Summery than sharks?!
- Sally Hansen Insta-Dri polish in Gain Mo-Mint-Um
- Maniology Stamping polish in Clarissa Blue
- Bio Sculpture Gemini Polish Blue Ballad
- Essence Out Of Space Stories in Mermaid of the Galaxy
- Charlotte Russe blue nail art polish
- Pretty Woman nail polish in I Can't Deal
- Innisfree polish #204 Jessie
- ORLY Instant Artist polish in Crisp White
- ORLY Instant Artist polish in Jet Black
(I also used a little bit of rubbing alcohol for the tie-dye effect as the base!)
I wanted to do something different with this Shark Week base, so I went with a tie-dye feel for the water underneath! I started out with one layer of the lightest blue as the base, then each blue I added on a palette and added a touch of rubbing alcohol to thin them out and dabbed a little of each on to each nails - fun little touch to the water!
Then, with the grey polish, I created the shark shape and filled in it, and added a red mouth in the same shape within the shark head. With the white nail art polish, I added some teeth, and added an outline and eye dots with the black nail art polish. Then, with the white nail art polish I free-handed the words on to the pointer finger! And, I sealed it all with a nail art top coat!
I hope you all have a great weekend! As always, make sure you check out Cosmetic Proof and Prairie Beauty Love for their Summer nails!
