My Winter Skincare Saviours

I shared some Fall transitional products last season and I loved the round-up of products! I mentioned that I always switch up some products in my routine based on the season!

My skin gets particularly dry in the Winter; but, not just my face (which is still combo), my whole body gets really dry as well. And, not only is it important to keep my face hydrated; but, it's so important to hydrate my whole body and these products have been saviours for that!

My Winter Skincare Saviours

Dr Teal's Shea Butter & Almond Oil Epsom Salt ~ $9.99 CAN. Dr Teal’s Soaking Solution combines Pure Epsom Salt (Magnesium Sulphate USP) with Shea Butter & Almond Oil extracts to help ease sore, achy muscles while moisturizing your skin. This extra rich skin caring formula has added natural essential oils, known for their ability to help soothe the senses and clear the mind.

I love my bubble baths and I have been loving adding some Epsom salts in to my baths - you actually add a good amount of these to a bath and they give it a rich scent and it is really relaxing! It is soothing and softening to the skin! Perfect way to get some added moisture in the skin starting in the bath!

My Winter Skincare Saviours

John Masters Organics Overnight Facial Mask with Pomegranate & Moroccan Rose ~ $89.00 CAN. Wake up to firmer, brighter, smoother, softer looking skin. Skin looks awake and luminous like you had 10 hours of sleep. This Overnight Facial Mask contains natural exfoliants, such as pomegranate enzymes and fruit acids to brighten and smooth your skin instantly and help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles over time.

I love overnight masks - I try to use them a couple of times per week to brighten and hydrate the skin! This one uses gentle pomegranate to exfoliate and konjac root and rose to hydrate and smooth the skin overnight! This one is nice and gentle, which is perfect by my skin can be a tad sensitive in the real cold, dry weather Alberta has!

My Winter Skincare Saviours

Glow Recipe Pineapple-C Brightening Serum ~ $68.00 CAN. A potent, lightweight Vitamin C and AHA serum concentrated with smoothing pineapple juice and hyaluronic acid to brighten and even tone.

This is something you have already seen a fair bit of - it made my Best of Skincare 2019, so you know this is fabulous! This was a Winter discovery and my skin has loved this - it uses pineapple juice, vitamin c, and chamomile to brighten and even skintone and it truly delivers on these claims! My skin has looked really great since I've started using this and it's just more even and hydrated!

My Winter Skincare Saviours

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask ~ sample size shown (full size is $26.00 CAN). A leave-on lip mask that soothes and moisturizes for smoother, more supple lips overnight.

This is another product that has been around for a little - this lip mask made my Best of Makeup in 2018, so I've been loving this for a while! But, this is even more important in the Winter - my lips are so dry and this is a necessity for me! (I don't know how I lived without this before I had it!) This goes on nice and thick and works all night so you wake up to super soft and smooth lips! This is a must-have!

My Winter Skincare Saviours

J.R. Watkins Hand Cream Grapefruit ~ $9.79 CAN. J.R. Watkins Hand Cream Grapefruit nourishes and hydrates hands to leave them feeling soft and smooth. Made with shea butter, cocoa butter, and avocado oil.

Oh man, my poor hands in our dry, freezing cold temperatures - I'm applying hand creme multiple times a day (seriously, it's so dry that I can't even get my wedding ring on in the morning without put lotion on!) This formula is so thick and creamy and so hydrating on the hands! Plus, I love this refreshing grapefruit scent!
