ONE
The palette I will share was received as a gift, everything else was purchased than me
Yesterday and today are Toxin-Free days at Rocky Mountain Soap Co. If you are signed up for their emails, you are on the list to get a free 100 ml shampoo and conditioner (you can either go in store or order online if you don't have a store near you).
I happen to have a store fairly close by, so I picked these up yesterday and I selected the Fine Hair Wild Kindness Shampoo and the Scented Wild Kindness Conditioner! I am excited to use these as I haven't tried any hair care products from Rocky Mountain Soap Co. before!
TWO
Last weekend we went and saw "The Louder We Get" put on by Theatre Calgary (tonight is the last night in Calgary if you are interested!) It's a true-story musical about a boy in High School who fights the Ontario Catholic School board to be able to bring his boyfriend to prom - it was amazing and it made me laugh, cry, get mad and cheer; it was just fantastic. And, my friend and her cousin know Marc, who's life the story is based on, so it was amazing to go out for drinks after with everyone - really great night!
THREE
Last weekend was the long weekend, so we tried to get in lots of family time!
Last weekend we baked Macarons for the first time! I was so excited to try these and Damian wanted to make them for a tourism project, so it was the perfect time to give it a go! They turned out really well and I actually can't wait to make more!
We took Elliott to the indoor bike park here in Calgary - Bline Indoor Bike Park and it was so cool! It was only $5 for the little guy and he had so much fun on their little course - it was so good to watch him rip around on his little Strider bike. The park itself is nicely divided in to sections so it felt fairly safe as well! Lots of fun - we will be going back here lots!
FOUR
Turns out I have a very generous friend who does not use a lot of makeup! She was telling me that she has some "eyeshadow-thing" I would like by "Marc-someone" that she had received as a gift and would use! Turns out it is this beautiful Marc Jacobs Elec-trick eyeshadow palette - it is a limited edition palette, so it's no longer available but it's stunning and those shimmers look lovely!
FIVE
Have you guys tried SmartMouth Mouthwash before?! I heard about it recently and thought I would give it a try - it's a little pricey, but I'm trying to see if it's worth it or not! It's supposed to be different with this dual solution that is "activated" when they are mixed.
