This month has a really good range of products - makeup, skincare, and nails!

Here is a closer look at my favourite products this month:

February 2020 - Monthly Favourites!

Glow Recipe Banana Souffle Moisture Cream ~ $50.00 CAN. A soothing, lightweight moisturizer, this sweet soufflĂ© of banana, magnesium, turmeric, and cica is your recipe for calmer, hydrated, even skin.

I picked this moisturizer up in December when it came out and I have been loving it! It is a perfect day time moisturizer for the Winter (I really love the Watermelon juice moisturizer for Summer) - this is lightweight, but deeply hydrating and moisturizing!

Paula's Choice Peptide Booster ~ $52.00 US. Unlock firmer-looking skin with eight powerful peptides that make skin more resilient and reduce the appearance of lines.

I have a few of these Paula's Choice boosters, so I've been trying them individually for a couple weeks at a time. My skin has really enjoyed this peptide booster - it targets concerns of loss of firmness, dullness, wrinkles and discolouration. You can use it alone or add it to your moisturizer. I just noticed that this made my skin stronger and healthier overall - my skin looked brighter and smooth!

Peach Slices Hydrate Mask ~ $2.49 US. Hydration is the absolute foundation of healthy skin. Without moisture, your skin can become slack, dull, crack and even break out. Instantly refresh and rejuvenate skin with this natural cotton sheet mask with intense hydration from antioxidant-rich thyme and the Chinese morning calm flower.

Peach Slices is a brand I've been excited to try - you can't find it in Canada, so I stocked up on their masks at CVS when I was in the States. I thought this mask fit well, had lots of essence, and wore so well - it was very hydrating and made my skin look and feel so fresh and soft!

February 2020 - Monthly Favourites!

Catrice x Eman Eyeshadow palette ~ $14.99 CAN. EMAN teams up with CATRICE to create a bronzed AF eyeshadow palette with 9 longlasting, highly pigmented neutral shades to fit all skin tones. The rich powder formula blends easily and doesn't crease. Create natural to dramatic looks with matte to pearl finishes.

This is a really gorgeous neutral palette - you can see my full look on the Catrice x Eman Eyeshadow palette here. I love that it is a neutral palette with browns and golds but also has a little mix of pink and maroons in there. The quality is just really good and I was impressed with how these all applied and wore!

Essie Expressie Nail Polish in "In The Time Zone" ~ $10.49 CAN. Expressie; the only quick dry nail polish worthy enough of carrying the essie name. Expressie dries in about a minute so you can grab, try and apply on-the-fly.

I love this polish formula so much! This is a new formula and it is true that it dries in minutes - it applies really nicely and dries instantly. It's amazing for doing nail art polish over or when you need something quick! Plus the formula is really long lasting! I have this in a creme and a shimmery finish and they are both great!

  1. I have been wanting to see whether the new Essie polishes dry quickly so I'm glad to hear that they live up to their hype!
