Manicure Monday - Mani & Pedi at The Nail Keeper Edmonton, Alberta

Happy Manicure Monday everyone! Last week I was in Edmonton, Alberta for a week of training for work. So, while I was away from home, I treated myself to a manicure/pedicure at The Nail Keeper

I found The Nail Keeper on Instagram because they had some really cute nail art, so I booked ahead for Monday night and mentioned that I wanted floral nail art while I was booking.

I'm keeping the "colour combo" theme up this week and wanted a Fall feel to my mani, so I found this deep wine red and it was matched with white, yellow and gold for a lovely Fall floral mani!

The Nail Keeper is located by Grant MacEwan University in a little strip mall. It's quite a discreet little entrance; but, is super cute inside! I was greeted and offered a choice of water, tea, coffee, or wine which is always nice!

I went for a Manicure & Pedicure combination and each service took about an hour - I also just chose regular polish, not shellac or gel as I still prefer to change my polish often! I went for the Classic Pedicure ($42.00 CAN) - soak, cuticle care, callous work, scrub and paint, and Classic Manicure ($27.00 CAN) - soak, cuticle care, massage and paint. I also opted for nail art on 3 nails on each hand which added a couple of dollars to the total!

I actually selected the same colour for my toes as I did for my nails - it was OPI Lost On Lombard and it is described as a "dark red creme". It is a beautiful deep red wine polish and is so perfect for Fall (or soon-to-be Fallish time!)

So for my Manicure, I had OPI Lost on Lombard as a base polish with two coats. The a yellow and white polish was used to make little flowers on a couple of nails. Then, they added a tiny bit of Nanacoco Gorgeous polish (which is a combination confetti polish to tie all the nails together) and it looked perfect!

I enjoyed my night at The Nail Keeper the other night - I thought they took great care on my feet and hands and was really happy with the outcome and thought my nails looked so pretty!

As always, make sure you check out Cosmetic Proof, Prairie Beauty Love, and Tea & Nail Polish to see their take on colour combos this week!
