ColourPop Haul, Swatches and Look - Main Squeeze, Orange You Glad?, Uh-Huh Honey, Pressed Glitters, Lip Crayons, and BFF Mascara and Liner!

Time for a huuuuuge Colourpop Haul! I have been collecting ColourPop orders from December to July and it's taken me a little while to try everything out! (I seriously hold on to everything until I feel like I can take pictures and use it and blog about it!) So, this whole "haul" is actually the result of a couple of different orders!

I purchased everything in this order - this post contains affiliate links

So, the product that pushed this over the edge for me was the Orange You Glad? palette - it's my newest purchase and the product that I was the most excited about! I have been loving the monochromatic palettes that have been releasing and I was so happy to see the orange palette, so I picked it up immediately!

While I was so excited about the orange 9 pan monochromatic palette, I was also very in to the red and yellow palettes, so now I have this little trio of them! I love the set-up of these palettes and the packaging is great - it's a solid plastic case with a big mirror inside them!

One thing to note is these palettes are described as "pressed powder palettes" and each palettes contains at least one shadow that are deemed "not to be around the immediate eye area" mainly because they are pressed glitters or sometimes a bright red or pressed pigment is deemed not eye safe because of some of the ingredients in the pigment. I have used all of them by my eyes, but proceed at your own risk because some of the chunks in the glitter are quite big!

ColourPop Uh-Huh Honey palette

ColourPop Uh-Huh Honey Shadow Palette ~ $12.00 US. A sunshine-y mix of matte, metallic and pressed glitter shadows.

This palette has a mix of 5 mattes, 3 metallics and 1 pressed glitter. I love yellow and think this is such a gorgeous palette! This does has a good mix of shadows for me; but, I do know that some of the critiques of this palette is that they don't have a good range of shadows and could have used a deeper yellow-brown.

ColourPop Uh-Huh Honey palette

Stinger ~ matte buttery yellow
Sunburst ~ metallic lemon yellow with blue glitter
Sweet Spot ~ matte primary yellow
Dandy ~ metallic vibrant yellow gold
Palooza ~ bright yellow with a copper duochrome shift
Queen B ~ metallic dandelion
Totally Buggin' matte butterscotch yellow
Oh Beehave ~ matte mustard
Buzz Kill ~ matte yellow brown

From this palette, the only shadow that is not eye safe is Palooza because it is a pressed glitter. It is a really pretty glitter and I was impressed that the formula adheres and wears well!

ColourPop Orange You Glad? palette

ColourPop Orange You Glad? Shadow Palette ~ $12.00 US. Introducing our NEW zesty orange palette.

I love orange shadows, especially with my blue eyes and I just think they are one of my go-to shadow colours to wear! This palette has a mix of 6 mattes, 2 metallics, and 1 pressed glitter and it's so pretty! I do think this has a really nice range of oranges from light to deeper.

ColourPop Orange You Glad? palette

Zested ~ matte pale apricot
Squeeze Me metallic yellow orange with gold flip
Creamsicle ~ matte peachy orange
Rise N Grind ~ matte vivid orange
Clementine ~ orange glitter with a copper flip
Sunkiss'd ~ matte neon tangerine
Tangerine Dreams ~ metallic mid tone red orange
Mimosa Mami ~ matte bright red orange
Ya Peel Me? ~ matte mid tone rust

So this palette has 4 shadows in that are not recommended to wear around the eye area - Rise N Grind, Clementine, Sunkiss'd, and Mimosa Mami. The brighter oranges likely contain a specific ingredient that's not "eye safe" and Clementine is a pressed glitter. I have used all around the eyes, specifically the matte shadows and have no concerns at all.

ColourPop Main Squeeze palette

ColourPop Main Squeeze Shadow Palette ~ $12.00 US. Our most requested palette ever with a fresh mix of ALL red shadows.

This is such a gorgeous palette and I did pick this up right when it was released a few months ago too! I love the watermelon theme and I love that it's a red palette, but with a good range of all different reds in it! This palette has 5 mattes and 4 metallics in it.

ColourPop Main Squeeze palette

Frose ~ matte coral red
Juicy Fruit ~ metallic coral with a gold flip
Home Slicemetallic strawberry red
Like It's Hot ~ matte true red
Maraschino ~ metallic red with a gold flip
Big Gulp ~ matte burnt coral red
Seed Money ~ matte red brown
Bay Watch ~ metallic red bronze
Red Bottoms ~ matte red plum

This palette is so gorgeous and the metallics are really pretty. Even though this palette does not have a pressed glitter in it, it still has 3 shadows that are not intended for use around the immediate eye area - Home Slice, Like It's Hot, and Maraschino. So again, those brighter shadows. I have worn these around the eyes with no concerns.

I have been really pleased overall with the ColourPop eyeshadow formula and these palettes are the same - they are great quality! While the mattes don't swatch well, they wear so well on the eyes and are smooth and blendable without being too pigmented and stiff. The metallics wear well and are best applied with a finger or wet brush. And, I even thought the pressed glitter formula was nice because it actually adhered well and I wasn't scared that glitter was going to go everywhere (even without a glitter primer)

And, I picked up a couple of extra Pressed Glitters ($5.00 US) because I was curious about the formula and really loved both of these shades!

BoombayahThis vivid orange don’t want a boy, she need a man.
IndioThis soft pink with holographic glitter is where you wanna be.

The formula is described as a self-adhering - hence why I've found the formula easy to wear and haven't been too worried about it around my eye (I do only apply a little bit so I don't have a crazy amount of glitter near my eye!

And, there is only one Super Shock Shadow in this whole haul and it's actually ColourPop's 5th Birthday Shadow (I put in an order in May so I could get this as I have all the past birthday shadows) - they are actually just freebie shadows with orders in May around their birthday!

This year's birthday shadow was Birthday Treat and it's gorgeous! It is a light coral orange with flecks of pink and gold glitter! I love it!

ColourPop Haul, Swatches and Look - Main Squeeze, Orange You Glad?, Uh-Huh Honey, Pressed Glitters, Lip Crayons, and BFF Mascara and Liner!

I am always impressed with the amount of products ColourPop has released at really amazing price points and I was super excited to see liquid liners and mascaras released too, so I had to try them out too!

ColourPop BFF Mascara

ColourPop BFF Mascara in Black on Black ~ $8.00 US. Mascara that instantly volumizes, lifts, and lengthens.

This brush has everything I look for in a mascara wand - it's a natural bristle brush with an hourglass shape to it. This is such a great price point too. What's cool is this mascara also comes in quite a few colours - coral, red, yellow, blue - you name it!

Overall, I thought this mascara was good, not great but good. It did everything it said - volumized, lengthened and separated. It made my lashes look pretty (you can see it in the look on this post); but, it didn't offer as much volume as I prefer personally.

ColourPop BFF eye liner

ColourPop BFF Liquid Liner in Numero Uno ~ $8.00 US. An ultra-fine felt tip liquid eyeliner that delivers intense pigmentation in one easy swipe.

Numero Uno is described as a true black liner and this comes in a bunch of colours too - pink, green, red and more! I love a felt tip liner and this one is a really flexible felt tip that is really easy to work with.

I think the pigmentation of the liner is great. The point comes to a good tip and it is really easy to work with! It makes a nice wing or just a good simple line! I really like this liner.

ColourPop Haul, Swatches and Look - Main Squeeze, Orange You Glad?, Uh-Huh Honey, Pressed Glitters, Lip Crayons, and BFF Mascara and Liner!

Here is an eye look that I created using ALL the eye products!

I started with Zested (orange palette) as a base shadow. Then I used Totally Buzzin' (yellow palette) in the crease with Creamsicle (orange palette), and Oh Beehave (yellow palette) higher up in the crease. I used Seed Money (red palette) in the outer corner and Birthday Treat all over the lid and Dandy (yellow palette) in the inner corner. I added a little bit of Boombayah on the inner portion of the lid. Then I added Stinger (yellow palette) and Ya Peel Me? (orange palette) on the lower lash line.

I finished the eye look with the BFF liner and mascara!

ColourPop Lip Crayons

And, no ColourPop haul would be fully complete without at least one lip product! And, the newest lip products that ColourPop came out with are their Lip Crayons (which I'm pretty sure were just called Lippie Tints a month ago when I picked them up!) But, these are described as a hydrating lip tint that adds a sheer wash of colour to create a healthy glow to the lips!

ColourPop Lip Crayons

Z Boyssheer peachy nude
A Go Go ~ sheer rosey pink

These lip crayons are lovely - they smell fantastic. Z Boys is from the peach line and A Go Go is from the watermelon line and they both smell like the corresponding fruits and they smell lovely. These go on so smoothly and wear so nicely on the lips!

ColourPop Haul, Swatches and Look - Main Squeeze, Orange You Glad?, Uh-Huh Honey, Pressed Glitters, Lip Crayons, and BFF Mascara and Liner!

Here is Z Boys on my lips and it's just a nice light wash of colour on the lips! This is such a comfortable formula and I really love these lip crayons!

And here is the full eye look I showed, with the Z Boys lip crayon on! I'm really happy with all of the products in this haul and how they all worked out!

I loved this eye look and how all the palettes and shadows worked out together! Plus, this lip crayon is a lovely product!

So, clearly this is a pretty positive haul where most of the products worked out really well for me! Have you guys tried any of these products before and if so, did you like them?

  1. Oh I love the orange palette! But I don't understand why they added 4 shades that aren't eye safe, how are we supposed to use them, then?

    1. I love the orange palette too - it's my favourite out of all of these. So weird I agree, I wish everything was just eye safe so no one has any concerns when using it!
