Manicure Monday - Double Stamped Nails

Happy Mani Monday everyone! For the whole month of January, the #CBBxManiMonday group will be doing "Nails We Wouldn't Normally Do" and I think this is such a fun theme to get the year started!

Manicure Monday - Double Stamped Nails

I'm still getting the hang of nail stamping; but, it is something I'm really working on. So, when I see people doubling up their stamping, I've always wanted to try it too! Plus, this blue is a really unique polish shade and I never wear blue polishes either! So, I thought this would be a fun way to double up on things I never do on my nails!

The products I used for this week's Mani are:
-Nails Inc Sweet Almond Nail Polish Powered By Matcha in Gloucester Crescent - a beautiful linen blue
-Nails Inc Winter Lights Nail Polish in London Lane - full of deep violet sequins
-Cici & Sisi nail art polish in white and silver
-Cici & Sisi Geometry 01 plate

For this mani, I started with 2 coats of the blue base polish, and topped it with 1 light coat of the glitter polish. After that dry I started stamping. I picked a fun dotted pattern and stamped each nail with white, then I picked a geometric triangle pattern and used silver and stamped over top. Once it was dry, I applied a top coat.

So, the silver over top wasn't as distinct as I wanted it to be - I was hoping for it to pop a little bit more on these colours. But, I do think it's a fun nail look and all the layers look really fun - it's certainly nails I wouldn't normally do!

  1. I love the colour! I've been eyeing it for a while and now I think I have to pick it up. Also really curious about trying out that stamping plate!
