Manicure Monday - Glittery Green and Stamped Stockings

"T'was the Night Before Christmas and all through the house, not a creature was stirring not even a Mouse. The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that St. Nicholas soon will be there." 

Happy Manicure Monday and Merry Christmas Eve! The Night Before Christmas is such a tradition for our family to read on Christmas Eve together before bed time - it's perfect to help get the kids settled, and it's been happening since I was a kid! 

So, I thought what better nails to do for Christmas Eve nails than stockings?! Also, stockings are my favorite part of Christmas time - I look forward to that more than the presents. My mom always stuffed my stocking and snuck in and put it on the end of my bed, so it was the best to wake up and have presents right there! So, I've been doing it for my older son, Damian, too and will start with Elliott when he's old enough! 

I love the colour combo of this deep glittery green and the gold - I know my stamping isn't perfect; but, I wasn't working with an amazing stamping plate. But, overall, these were quick and easy and with this busy time of year, that's exactly what I needed! 

For this Manicure, I used:
-Butter London in "Jack the Lad"
-Cici & Sisi gold stamping polish 
-Moyra nail art top coat
-Cici & Sisi Happy New Year 02 plate 

Cici & Sisi is new to me, and I will be honest and say I'm not really in to this stamping plate. I'm used to metal plates, so this weird plasticy top is a bit strange to work with. It did work for stamping; but, it was a little weird. Also, the pictures were huge - most wouldn't fit on my nails, and not just lengthwise, they are super wide and would maybe fit well on my big toe. On that note, I liked the stamping polishes from them (be warned, if you order the polishes, shipping takes a long time).
