Who doesn't love supporting local businesses?! I love nothing more than finding great companies with amazing products that are local! I encountered Lifance Skin Care last year at the Calgary Woman's Show and was instantly in love with how beautiful their products were (hello - cake and cupcake soaps, I was sold!)
I was excited to get the opportunity to review a few of their products to let you guys know about this company! I will actually be reviewing some body products this week and next Sunday, I will be featuring some face skin care products as well!
Lifance Skin Care is handmade right here in Alberta and they are dedicated to making pure, concentrated, natural skin care products. They focus on using quality concentrated ingredients that will have the highest impact on the skin - for example, peptides, marine collagen, caviar oil, cucumber, raspberry, hyaluronic acid, etc! The products are all preserved naturally and are chemical free. Because these are preserved naturally, they do need to be used within 3-6 months of opening, and have a shelf life of 12 months unopened.
Lifance Triple Whipped Body Butter in "White Tea and Ginger" ~ $24.00 for 8 oz. Our Whipped Body Butter is the perfect moisturizer for dry skin. No Fillers...just full of the good stuff, Cocoa, Shea, Apricot and Grapeseed Oils.
This body butter comes gorgeously packaged in this heavy glass jar. The body butter is whipped and smells really gentle tea and ginger scent - it is just enough that it isn't overwhelming and is actually a really soothing scent! This also comes in Coconut, Lemon Chiffon and Love Spell.
So, the directions say use in small amounts as the formula has no fillers or water - I thought I put a small amount on my hand, but I can tell you that the amount pictured fully covered both of my arms and hands! So really, a little amount goes a long
The whipped formula is so rich and it did not leave an oily feeling on the skin at all! It absorbed really well and left the skin feeling moisturized and looking soft and glowing! Really happy with this body butter - the best word to describe this product is luxurious!
Lifance Exfoliating Body Butter Bar ~ $12.00. Reveal bright new skin as you gently exfoliate your body with the fine powders of Adzuki Beans and Rice. Your skin will be left hydrated with the nourishing properties of Cocoa, Shea and Avocado. Exfoliating removes dead skin cells allowing for new skin cell growth and healthy looking skin.
Note, this is not meant for facial skin - cocoa butter is too heavy for facial skin. This exfoliating body butter bar can be used both in the shower or out of the shower - massage in to skin in small circles, going over each spot only once. Do not let this sit or stay in hot water so not to melt it!
The Shea Butter and Rice give this exfoliant a really natural and soothing scent! This melts in to the skin and leaves it feeling supple and hydrated! The Exfoliating Body Butter works best in the shower, when skin is wet after washing. I personally like this best used in the bath tub - I use it without putting it in to the water and it works well. It is a strong exfoliator so I can see why you wouldn't want to scrub the same spot for too long!
Lifance Creamy Nougat Soap ~ $7.00. Treat your skin to this decadent creamy soap scented in rich Bergamot and Frankincense. We have loaded this soap with Powdered Oatmeal and tiny pieces of currants for exfoliation. Nourish your skin with Creamy Nougat!
If you have read my blog for any length of time, you know that I use nothing else but handmade natural soaps! This soap is quite a soft soap and it is very gentle, but the oatmeal does give it a really natural exfoliation. This has a rich scent and it very soothing and creamy on the skin!
I really enjoy this soap there is quite a few different types to try - blue oats and honey, pink sugar, lemon tuscan tile, anise and lemon, and cake and cupcake soaps!
So far, I am impressed with the products from Lifance Skin Care. The products deliver Lifance's promise of concentrated formulas and quality ingredients! The body butter and soap are really amazing - both products that are great on my skin! While the exfoliating bar took me a few tries to figure out my favorite way to use it, after I did it worked really well!
Hope you are looking forward to more Lifance products for Skincare Sunday next week too!
