August 2015 Mishibox K-Beauty Subscription Box - Review and Unboxing

Recently, I have been complaining about the lack of Korean Beauty Subscriptions available in Canada (I will note that my fiance and wallet are not complaining about this though...). Up until now, we only have Beauteque BB Bag - don't get me wrong I liked the subscription, but I also like to have options!

Mishibox is a newer Korean Beauty Box subscription based out of the U.S. - their first box shipped in June. I was so excited when they announced that they would be shipping to Canada for August! I obviously signed up right away!

Mishibox is described as:
"Our mission at MISHIBOX (pronounced "me-she") is to help you explore the exciting (and sometimes very cute) world of Korean beauty. We want to help you discover your favorite products in a convenient, effortless, and affordable way. We will send you a curated box with a combination of 4 - 6 deluxe-sized samples and full-sized Korean beauty products from a wide range of Korean brands. We are all about finding the best Korean beauty products for you to try from both brands that you already love and the brands that we think you will love."

Mishibox is $19.99 monthly + $8.95 shipping to Canada. Mishibox has noted that they are currently trying to secure a lower shipping rate to Canada!

Here is a look at the August Mishibox:

The box was nicely packaged! Eeeek - I love these Tony Moly pandas!! I JUST WANT ALL THE PANDAS!!! This box also included a detailed product card (that I forgot to take a photo of).

Sorry, lets take a closer look at the products I received:

Tony Moly - Delight Tony Tint #3 Orange Chacha ~ $6. Liquid type tint that express clear and animate lips color. It's absorbed rapidly in lips because Jojoba seed oil is contained and cellular regeneration ability is excellent and encourage plow power and elasticity.

I like Tony Moly, but I won't wear an orange tint so I am going to pass this on..

Tony Moly Panda's Dream White Hand Cream ~ $12. Tony Moly's Panda's Dream White Hand Cream is made with honey extract and bamboo sap which help hydrate and retain moisture while brightening your hands. This creamy nourishing hand cream will bring back life into your hands while evening the skin tone. It's not greasy and has a light fruity scent.

A panda I don't have - so exciting! These are just the cutest packages I have ever seen! This one is a hand cream and it has a little home on my bed side table!

The Face Shop Rice & Ceramide Moisture Emulsion ~ $12. This quick-absorbing emulsion contains rice extracts to minimize dark spots, freckles, and hyper-pigmentation, and ceramides to moisturize your skin. This light lotion is perfect for the summer and great for all skin types.

I like the Face Shop and have a few of the rice & ceramide products; but, I have not tried this emulsion yet! I am happy to use this!

Yadah Vitalizing Mask Pack ~ $3.50. Try these 100% cotton sheet masks that are free of artificial colorants, parabens, ethanol, and fragrances. Great for all skin types and designed for sensitive skin.

How cute is this mask?! Love the idea of a vitalizing mask!

Yadah Anti-T Soothing Toner ~ sample size 8ml for $1.76 (full size is 100ml for $22). Treat your acne and troubled skin with this gentle toner from Yadah. This product also helps to control excess sebum. This hypoallergenic, low-chemical, and plant-derived formulation is suitable for all skin types.

I love the idea of this toner and am excited to try this! I like that this is targeted to specific skin types and will use it when my skin is looking troubled.

Yadah Anti-T Emulsion ~ $1.84. Continue caring for your acne and troubled skin or control your excess sebum with this gentle emulsion. The non-greasy formula of this toner and emulsion set provides a cooling sensation that is perfect for summer!

I know a lot of people were not happy that this box contains 2 emulsions, but this is for a targeted skin type and I use different products on different days given how my skin feels. I am happy to try this emulsion too!

Mishibox came with 6 products (4 full size) and a total value of $37.10 (this is from Mishibox, if you looked, you would likely be able to find some of these products cheaper on ebay, but I looked and found their prices comparable to most websites.)

Mishibox is probably for people who are just getting started in to k-beauty, but I was happy with most of the products (I will only not use the tony tint). I will keep subscribed for a few months to see how Mishibox goes!

Have you tried Mishibox yet? What did you think of the products in this box?
