Here are my Favourite Products I have been loving this month:

The moisturizer and masks were received as PS samples - this post contains affiliate links

This month was a total mix of products - some new loves and others that I've had in my collection for a while! (Also, some were really helpful while travelling this month!)

Here is a closer look at my favourite products of the month:

January 2020 - Monthly Favourites!

Farmacy Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm ~ $45.00 CAN. A makeup remover and face cleanser that melts virtually all makeup, leaving skin hydrated and silky smooth.

I recently talked about being a cleansing balm convert with the Physician's Formula balm and that is certainly my pick for affordable; but, I have had this little tub for a while and took it on vacation and I think this just edges out the PF one a little bit - it removes the makeup just a touch better (this is fantastic with removing eye makeup) and the second doesn't need to do much work! Also, you need less of this one and it was just really great!

Paula's Choice Youth-Extending Daily Hydrating Fluid ~ $33.00 US. An innovative water-light formula that contains a vital selection of antioxidants and broad-spectrum sun protection to fight visible signs of aging and prevent premature aging of skin.

I've used this and really liked it before as a daily SPF; but, this especially impressed me on my trip to Mexico - it held up to the humidity and wore well and really did protect my skin the whole time. I really thought this is fantastic face moisturizer!

January 2020 - Monthly Favourites!

Catrice HD Liquid Coverage Foundation in 030 Sand Beige ~ $13.99 CAN. Catrice's HD Liquid Coverage Foundation is an ultra-lightweight, high coverage foundation for a natural looking finish.

I've recently shared a full look of Catrice products and they are newly available in Canada at Shopper's Drug Mart. The foundation offered a fairly full coverage look while being a super lightweight formula. It dries down and sets well without looking dry and wears all day. (The only thing it didn't last through was a workout, but I it was unexpected and I typically don't wear makeup during those anyways!)

Yves Saint Laurent Volupté Tint-in-Balm in Flirt Me Coral ~ $49.00 CAN. A hybrid lipstick that combines nourishing balm care with glowing, sheer color for a hint of tint that enhances lip color.

Okay, I know this sounds crazy but I looove this lip balm so much - you can see a whole review on this lip balm here! It is pricey but it is so moisturizing and leaves just a nice little hint of colour on the lips! These are so good!

Franz Jet Microcurrent Dual Face Mask System ~ $40.00 US for 2 sets. Patented microcurrent technology helps the absorption of key ingredients (Oligo Hyaluronic Acid, Ceramide and Copper Tripeptide-1) to help hydrate, tighten and soften your skin.

These masks are so cool - you can see a whole review on the micro-current mask system here! Yes, so it's actually skincare using microcurrents to firm and smooth the skin - it's such a unique idea and I always love crazy skincare! Personally, the crazier the better (within a limit - I'd much rather a microcurrent than a vampire facial or something that hurts!) Not only are these a super unique concept, they offered really great results! My skin looked really refreshed and bright after wearing these!

  1. I was surprised by the foundation too, the coverage is impressive! I can't use it right now because it's too matte for my dehydrated skin, but I will definitely use it in a few months.

    1. I'm really impressed with the foundation - it can probably emphasize dry patches, but I love it overall!
