I have said this a million times here; but, I am all about mini palettes - they are super handy and easy to use! Plus, with a brand like Viseart, you can try a pricier pro brand at a lower price point! (Really, I don't use up full size shadow palettes ever so, I don't always need a full sized palette!) Plus, they are so cute!
Viseart Petit Pro 2 Eyeshadow Palette ~ $38.00 CAN ($30.00 US). These new additions to Viseart’s color range are flawlessly-blendable, color-true eyeshadows in a smaller packaging format that’s ideal for artists or makeup lovers on the go. These versatile, pigment-rich colors in matte, satin, and shimmer textures were curated from Viseart’s heritage Parisian formulas to create day to evening looks that look as stunning in photographs as they do in person.
These shades are really pretty - mattes and shimmers and they stunning! The shades are all pink and purples and they remind me of Spring flowers!
This is such a cute little palette! I think the pink shimmer shadows are all maybe a little similar in look so I hope that they look different on the eyes. The mattes have a great variety and overall, the shadows are all gorgeous! I do like that it is very different from the Petit Pro 1 so there is no overlap in shadows!
The top row are all beautiful matte shades ~ Petal, Nectar, Honeysuckle and Foxglove. And, the bottom row is all shimmers ~ Primrose, Clove, Cosmos, and Aster.
Overall, the shadows are soft and smooth. I thought there was a little difference in the mattes - Honeysuckle and Foxglove were quite different in pigmentation; but, they all applied well and blended easily and smoothly! I like that the majority of the mattes are not too pigmented. I personally prefer to build up my shadows as opposed to them going on too heavy and not blending well.
The shimmers are gorgeous! They apply well with a brush or with fingers (more pigmented when applied with fingers) and they looked really nice on the eyes! The shimmers did have more variation than I initially thought!
For this look, I tried to use as many of the shadows in the palette as possible! I used Petal, and Nectar in the crease. I have 3 shades on the lids (from inside to outside) - Aster, Clove and Cosmos, plus I added a touch of Foxglove to the outer corner to deepen it up! I have Primrose in the inner corner of the eye. Petal and Nectar are lightly on the lower lash line!
I love the shades of these eyeshadows - pink shadows used to be my go-to makeup look! I shifted away from them for a little while, so I'm happy to have these pretty, shimmery pink shadows!
The other products I used for this look are:
-primer: Estee Lauder The Smoother Universal Perfecting Primer
-foundation: Covergirl Clean Matte BB Cream for Oily Skin #530 Light/Medium
-powder: NYX Banana Finishing Powder and Too Faced Peach Blur Translucent Smoothing Finishing Powder
-blush: Rodial Blusher in Copacabana
-brows: Tarte Amazonian Clay Waterproof Brow Mousse
-mascara: Dior Diorshow Mascara
-lips: Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment "Rose"
Overall, I'm happy with this palette! The shadows are beautiful and apply really nicely! This is a great way to try Viseart shadows in my opinion!
