Five on Friday - March 2, 2018

Happy Friday everyone! I hope you all had a great week - mine was pretty quiet; I've have a sick baby all week so we haven't done much!

ONE

I got myself a little gift and she showed up in the mail earlier this week! I was so excited when Viseart announced the Petit Pro 2 (on the right) because I really love the Petit Pro 1! (You can see my thoughts on the Viseart Petit Pro 1 here!) I'm going to dive in to the Petit Pro 2 right away - the colours are perfect for Spring!

TWO

I finished 4 books over the past couple of weeks! I read The Perks of Being a Wallflower and I'm not sure I considered it such a cult classic as everyone else! But, it did make me watch the movie, which I liked better than the book - it was a little more mature language and I preferred that! Plus, I read a couple of Graphic Novels around racism and indigenous stories in Canada that I think are worth a read!

THREE

Mmmm... a few weeks ago I posted a 4 ingredient bagel recipe I tried (which was delicious) and a little healthier (greek yogurt, flour, baking powder and a pinch of salt) and this week I made an amazing Breakfast pizza using the same bagel recipe as the base of the pizzas! So good - you can find the recipe here on Skinny Taste

FOUR

Have my fellow Canadians signed up to receive their Loblaws gift card yet? You can get 2 per household, so $50 towards your groceries! I wasn't super offended by the allegations of a bread-fixing price; but, I definitely meet the criteria - we have been buying our groceries for years at Superstore!

FIVE

And, you know I'm a reality TV junkie, so let's dive in to some thoughts!

I know I can't be the only still hanging on and watching Survivor! I like that they are always trying to mix it up and try new things as the show evolves!

Was this anyone else's face this week on the Bachelor Women Tell All Episode when Caroline was like "I know what you did" and Arie did not deny it - I neeeeed to know! I usually try and avoid spoilers; but, I have a few theories on what is going to happen and I may need to know what happens!

I hope you all have a great weekend!

  1. I haven’t tried any products from Viseart but those palettes are gorgeous! That breakfast pizza looks amazing too.
