Happy Friday everyone! I hope you all had an amazing week - I'm feeling refreshed and lovely, had some self-care this weekend with a little spa night and got my eye-brows all done and tinted up for a little vacation time next week!

This past weekend, I took the kids to the Science Centre and we had so much fun. They have a venus themed space exhibit and a fun new Astro cafe with amazing ice cream designed after all the planets! We did all the exhibits, caught a movie in the dome theatre and played on the big brainasium park outside! Such a good spot! 

The Palette Tag - All About My Eyeshadow Palettes!

It's no secret that my favourite part of makeup is eyeshadow palettes! I currently have 50 palettes in my collection and I've been really reasonable this year about adding palettes in my collection and playing and using the palettes that I do have in my collection.

I do love to talk about all the eyeshadow I have so The Palette Tag is the perfect excuse! I first saw the tag on Makeup Your Mind's channel; but, it was originally created by Samantha March and Allie Glines! 

April Shop My Stash - Bright Spring Look and Duping The Vibes of The Viseart Mini Petit Pro Chou Chou Palette

I've been buying a fair bit less makeup since the Covid-19 pandemic; but, there have been a couple of releases that have caught my eye lately. I really enjoyed my a previous Shop My Stash look when I Duped The Vibes of an eyeshadow palette that really caught my eye - I ended up having very similar shades in my collection, so I really convinced I didn't need the palette even though the reviews about it were great! And, it was such a fun new way to Shop My Stash and play in my collection!

When I saw the new Viseart Mini Petit Pro Chou Chou Eyeshadow Palette, I actually really wanted it! It was perfect for Spring and Summer - it comes with bright shades and it is really refreshing! I already have 3 of the Petit Pro palettes in my collection and I like the quality, so I was certainly considering purchasing the palette!

February Shop My Stash - Pink Valentine's Day Look and Duping The Vibes Of The Natasha Denona Love Palette

As if I need an excuse to play with pink makeup around here; but, if ever an excuse was needed - Valentine's Day is it! But, is it me or did a ton of brands release pink and red palettes for Valentine's Day this year when it hasn't seemed that popular of a makeup release holiday before?!

But, while I was intrigued by some of the releases, I personally felt that it's just too soon for a ton of new palettes because in all seriousness, I still have makeup to play with and try from Christmas! So, I'm trying not to impulse buy all the makeup this year; but, damn of all the releases, Natasha Denona really tempted me with the new Love Palette - it's this gorgeous red, pink and purplish palette and I know the Natasha Denona formula is really nice! 

Five on Friday - February 7, 2020

Happy Friday everyone! I hope you all had a great week! Mine has been pretty good, except my little animal has decided that being up between 4:30 and 5:00 am to play with his toys is good (I'm trying to remind myself that it's a phase; but, it feels like a very long phase when it affects your sleep!)

I'm keeping up my Monthly Makeup Baskets for 2020 because I really enjoyed that they helped me shop my stash and allowed me to use and love everything in my collection! I always like to remember the older products and not let them get pushed aside when I get something shiny and new!
