Manicure Monday (Gold Accent Mani) and Monthly Pedicure (Flower Toes)!

It is the start of a new month, which means not only is it Manicure Monday - it is also Monthly Pedicure Day! 

Let's start with Manicure Monday! This week I had gold in mind, so I wanted to do a gold accent/design nail! 

Here are the products I used for this week's mani:

• Formula X Nail Cleanser and Base Coat 
• OPI Top Coat
• Sally Hansen #300 White On
• Sally Hansen #270 Lacey Lilac
• Ciate #59 Ladylike Luxe
• Nail art brush

And here are steps I followed:

1. Nail cleanser and base coat
2. 2 coats of base polish - I had 3 lilac, 1 white (for gold design) and 1 gold:

3. Use the nail polish brush to create an "X" with gold polish over the white base:

4. Use the brush and gold polish and fill in the empty space with triangles:

5. Top Coat

Again, here is a look at my final result:

I love this accent nail - I think it looks harder then it actually looks! 

On to the Monthly Manicure! Since Spring comes in March, I'm thinking flowers! 

Here are the products I used for this month's pedi:

• Formula X Nail Cleanser and Base Coat
• OPI Top Coat
• Sally Hansen #300 White On
• Sally Hansen #320 Fushia Power 
• Rainbow Honey "Lemon Sorbet" 
• Ciate #79 Strawberry Milkshake
• Nail dotter

Here are the steps I followed: 

1. Nail cleanser and base coat

2. 2 coats of pink polish

3. 1 coat of glitter, just for a little sparkle!

4. Use the dotting tool and bright pink polish to create the flower petals:

5. Use the dotting tool with white polish to create the centre of the flower

6. Top Coat
