February 2015 Beauty Box Comparison - Ipsy vs. Birchbox Canada vs. TopBox vs. Beauty Box 5

Here is a look at the basic comparison between February's inexpensive Beauty Bags/Boxes:

Overall this month I was happy with the boxes I received this month - here is a look at what I liked and disliked for each box:

Ipsy

Ipsy had a huge value this month, almost $80 (that expensive face oil really helped!). I liked the oil, brush and eyeshadow; the blush was good - I just have too many right now and the lipgloss was not my color at all!

Beauty Box 5

Beauty Box 5 appeared better than last month; however, there is still a concern this month with the Avon eye pencil and GlamGlow sample that they are old and discontinued. I was happy to see 4 full sized items and liked the eyeshadow, lipgloss and nail polish. Not my favorite box, but it is certainly an improvement from last month.

Top Box

I love this month's TopBox - I requested the Benefit Box and received 4 sample sized items. The mascara was a new item I received prior to it's release. I like all the products, my only complaint is that there were 2 eye creams in the box.

Birchbox Canada

Birchbox was just okay for me this month - I was happy to see a full time eyeliner, but the samples of the lipgloss and nipple balm for lips were really small. The lotion and scrub were nice, but given that this is only the 3rd Birchbox Canada, I have already received similar items already from them!

Altogether, February's boxes were decent and I will use the majority of the products I received. My favorite has to be Topbox, I loved getting Rollerball Mascara prior to its actual release date!!
