I'm always excited to get a new cookbook - I managed to find the PlantYou Cookbook from BookOutlet for a great price (along with some other books - 2 of which were signed!) I follow the author on instagram and the recipes look great!

Ah my Sunflowers were so slow this year, but they've finally bloomed and they are just tiny, cute things - my garden did not fare well this year with the early heat, and lots of mixed weather! But, at least they bloomed now!
THREE
Calgary has The Good Food Box (GFB) is a program under the Community Kitchen Program of Calgary where they offer affordable produce boxes to everyone interested. Honestly, with the price of groceries and everything so expensive, they are amazing. I get the large box, so 35-40 lbs of fruits and vegetables for $40. This month had all the stable veggies and fruits, plus pineapple, squash, avocados, berries, lemons, etc! They are such a great price!
FOUR
I got all packed up for Halloween - I love making these little Halloween goodie bags for my trick-or-treaters! I picked up candy from Bulk Barn and Dollarama and these are so much fun to put together and easy to hand out! I'm getting so excited for Halloween - can't wait!
FIVE
While we are talking about being excited, I just got my Halloween costume pieces! I don't love to order from Amazon, but it's the only place I could find these cute little pink cat pieces! These are the Fxaelian Cat Ears and Cat Paws!
