Monthly Beauty Favourites - April 2023

Here's a look at what I've been loving this past month:

The CurrentBody Skin was received as a PR sample - this post contains affiliate links

Last year I started just picking any number of products I'm loving, instead of trying to find 5 each month (which I did previously!) So, whatever number of products I'm loving, that's what I will be sharing.

I've been slower at using and trying out new products, so naturally my Favourites have been on the smaller side lately (and I'm totally fine with that) - here's a closer look at what I've been loving this month:

Glossier Ultralip High Shine Lipstick with Hyaluronic Acid in Villa ~ $23.00 CAN. A high-shine lipstick that has the rich moisture of a balm, sheen of a gloss, and buildable color of a lip tint in one step, without having to layer multiple products.

During the Sephora sale this past month, I finally picked up a few products from Glossier and was impressed - I loved this High Shine Lipstick and the finish is gorgeous (you can see a full review and the product on me here). It's got a lovely little tint, a pretty shiny finish and a totally effortless look! Love it!

Lush Princess Peach Body Spray ~ $46.00 CAN. Roll out the red carpet, royalty has arrived! Power-up your bathing and watch The Super Mario Bros. Movie, only in theaters.

I love the Lush body sprays - this one is a really fresh sweet scent and it's so yummy! It's nice and fruity (the standouts are peach and pineapple) and it's refreshing. I don't love a heavy scent so I always still to the body spray side of things unless it's a special occasion and this quickly became my go to daily scent! (if you want to see what else I picked up from the Lush x Mario collection - you can check out my post here!)

CurrentBody Skin LED Eye Perfector Review ~ $295.00 CAN. The CurrentBody Skin LED Eye Perfector uses 4 powerful LED wavelengths to target the eye crow's feet, 11 lines (i.e. frown lines), eye bags and dark circles under your eyes. Firm, plump and add elasticity with quick daily light therapy sessions. Clinically proven technology with 4 LED wavelengths hits the deeper layers of your skin to ramp up collagen production and kick-start skin healing.

This is a great eye mask and it's a powerful LED mask - it is rechargeable and comes with a stand which makes it super handy to keep close by and recharge when needed. The mask is a soft texture inside that holds well on the face and has an adjustable strap to fit really well on to the face. What's great is this is pre-programmed for three minutes, so it's a super quick addition in to the routine right after washing and drying your face before applying the rest of your routine! I've loved adding this to my routine and I know that's it's expensive, but for me this has been a valuable part of my routine. (If you to see my full thoughts and save 10% off any purchase, check out my full review here!)

This Works Stress Check Breathe In Roll-On ~ $34.02 CAN. Refresh and calm your senses with the this works Stress Check Breathe In; an aroma-therapeutic roller ball. Boasting a therapeutic blend, breathe in effortlessly delivers product to skin and can reduce feelings of stress by simply inhaling or massaging into pulse points. The dreamy scent is enriched with Eucalyptus to counter physical and mental fatigue, whilst Frankincense essential oil delivers antiseptic benefits. Complete with Lavender oil, Stress Check helps those suffering from insomnia, nervous tension and hypertension. Expect to feel de-stressed and thoroughly relaxed.

This feels a little random, but honestly last month was stressful and full of many sleepless nights - my little guy was so sick and I just was overwhelmed with work and life. I got this in a set a while ago, and honestly I used this multiple times per week! It was truly so calming and relaxing that I've made it a regular habit to use it multiple times per week!

What were you loving this week?
