I went to Sneak Peek night at the Calgary Stampede this year - it's been two years since I've been so it was so fun to go! We did all the rides, ate a grilled cheese donut and had a fun night! (I will share more pictures on my instagram soon!) We managed to miss a tornado warning, hail and rain and ended up with a really good night!
TWO
We just spent a week in Penticton, B.C. - I was born and raised here and I still have parents and family here, so we spend a week there visiting family, drinking wine and enjoying my time with my family! The beach was lovely and there is always lots of fun things to do! (There was a little bit of extra rain on the last day, but that seems to be everywhere right now!)
THREE
While we were there, we did some wine tasting in Okanagan Falls and came back with about 2.5 cases of wine to restock the basement - we went to Bonamici, Montakarn, Noble Ridge, Stag's Hollow, Wild Goose and Blasted Church. I'm excited to try all of these!
FOUR
While in B.C., I tried out a fun new place, Crown and Thieves in West Kelowna for dinner! It is such a unique place - it's a winery for a tasting, a dinner every evening with a rotating menu, and then a speakeasy in the basement on the weekends! It's super cute and the food was amazing!
FIVE
The new Minions: The Rise of Gru movie came out this past weekend and we took Elliott to go see it - I will be honest, I probably laughed the loudest out of everyone in the theatre, so I thought the movie was hilarious! It was super cute and we all enjoyed it!
