I used to always have pick 5 products each month, but that is one thing I'm changing this year - whatever I'm loving, I will share whether it's 2 or 10 products!
Also, this month's products were all makeup products - all pretty new discoveries that I've really been enjoying. Here's a closer look at the 4 products I was loving this month:
Estee Lauder Futurist Futurist Aqua Brilliance Watery Glow Primer ~ $49.00 CAN. A lightweight primer that triples skin‘s moisture for a plumped and glowing look and can be worn alone or under foundation.
I've been going through some older primers so that I can get to some of the newer ones that I've been excited about! This one was sent last year in PR and I've been really excited to try it out because I loved the idea of a plumped and glowy base and I'm impressed with this! It's not like a pore smoothing primer, so it just just glides on and I find that everything sits so nicely on top of this and it just adds a healthy glow! I have also used this alone as I'm not always wearing face makeup and I like it - it's just adds a super nice finish to the skin!
NYX Epic Ink Liner ~ $13.49 CAN. Featuring a slender and supple brush tip, this intensely pigmented, waterproof eyeliner lets you achieve black liquid lines effortlessly. Every stroke is unbelievably fluid for a defined finish. Control the thickness of your lines by pressing down the eyeliner just a touch. Fine and natural, broad and bold - the look is always up to you with this perfect eyeliner for tightlining!
I typically reach for a felt tip liner, so for this brush tip is new for me and I really like this! This formula goes on so pigmented and it's got a nice finish, that goes almost matte (not shiny or reflective at all). This formula is also waterproof and long-wearing - I'd agree that's long-wearing (I haven't quite tested the waterproof claim yet), and I like it. It applies so smoothly, easy to use and so pigmented - super easy to create a wing with!
Rare Beauty Positive Light Liquid Luminizer Highlight in "Mesmerize" ~ sample size shown (full size is $29.00 CAN). A silky, second-skin liquid highlighter that creates a lasting, soft, and luminous finish.
I was really excited to try Rare Beauty and this liquid highlighter is a stand out for sure! The shade Mesmerize is described as "rose-bronze" and it's very pretty - this goes on really pretty and just goes on nice and light, so it can be built up and just leaves a really pretty sheen on the cheekbones! It stays on nicely for the day as well.
Sydney Grace Temptalia Dear Reader - Eyeshadow ~ $6.25 US. Dear Reader is a lavender with a slight cool tone and metallic finish.
This was one of the shadows that Temptalia and Sydney Grace considered for their collaboration palettes - it was chosen, but it was so well loved by Temptalia fans that they decided to sell it as a single and called it Dear Reader! This is a beautiful shadow formula - it's so pigmented and metallic on the eyes! I love it all over the lid and in the inner corner of the eye - so pretty!
I actually used all of these products in my January Shop My Stash makeup look - you can see them all in action here!
What was your favourite product this past month?!
