I started the project off with the first 10 products and was going to treat this like a rolling project - once I reach my goal, I will add a new product to the mix! On my first update, I reached my goal on 1 product, then with the second update, I finished another 2, my third update I finished another 4 products, in my fourth update I finished 1 more product, and in my fifth update I finished another 3 products! So, going in to this final update, I have hit my goal on 11 products, and had 10 more to go! (I have to be honest though, I lost all steam on this project this month and did not add in new products and just worked on finishing what I had).
I have a mix of goals between finishing products and hitting pan, so this should be a lot of fun! I also picked a mix of products that I will reach my goals quickly on and some that may take close to the whole project to reach! Let's start with the product that I've reached my goal on:
Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Paaarty ~ deluxe sample (full size is $38.00 CAN). An award-winning powder blush that contains long-wearing Amazonian clay, so pigment looks freshly applied all day.
This is another old favourite - it was one of my Favourite Makeup Products of 2017. I think this was the Sephora Birthday gift either 2016 or 2017 and Paaarty is described as a "nude". It's a lovely pinky nude that works well for my skintone and it's an easy to use shade for every day!
My goal for this product is to hit pan on this blush - it is a deluxe size, so that should be doable within this year, but I have been working on this since the start of the year and I finalllllly hit pan on this at the start of November! Again, I didn't roll anything new in this, so I just kept working on it and got a little further!
Too Faced Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette ~ $65.00 CAN. An eyeshadow palette with 18 shades in peachy pinks, corals, bronzes, and purples.
This is my oldest palette in my collection right now - it came out in early 2016, so we are pushing 5 years old now (you can see my original post back in April 2016 on it here!). The formula is still good and I really liked this palette, and still enjoy it whenever I remember to use it, so I think it's time to get some good use out of it before it's not so good anymore!
My goal for this eyeshadow palette is to hit pan on at least 2 shadows (maybe 3 depending on how I'm doing) and use all the shadows at least a couple of times! I wasn't great at using the rest of the shadows in the palette, and I hit pan on the first shade in July 30, 2021, then I hit pan on the second shade on October 9, 2021, then I hit pan on the third shadow on November 21, 2021, so now I can declutter this from my collection knowing I worked on it for a whole year!
Too Faced Peach Blur Translucent Smoothing Finishing Powder ~ $38.00 CAN. An innovative blurring and finishing powder for a flawless-looking complexion.
This powder is now the oldest powder in my collection - these project pans have been so helpful in getting to use up some old powders up. This is a past Favourite from 2018 and it's lovely. It's great for smoothing; but, it is getting old, so it's not working the same it was a few years ago!

My goal on this product is to use this up - and honestly, it's to the point that I cannot get any more out of this on my brush. I had tried for the past few days before the pictures and it did nothing! So, it's all done and it was a good powder!
So, I only finished another 3 products - bringing my total in this project to 14 (far from my goal of 21 sadly!) But, here's a quick look at how I did on everything else in this project:
Becca Cosmetics Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter in Champagne Pop ~ $50.00 CAN. An award-winning highlighter with an ultra-creamy formula that melts into skin for a natural, luminous glow.
This is probably the oldest highlighter in my collection - Champagne Pop was huge when it was released in July 2015 and it really is a stunning colour. It made my Monthly Favourites back in that month, so it's an oldie but a goodie! It's described as "soft gold with pinky-peach pearl" and it really is stunning - it's an old favourite and I've made a pretty good dent in it over the years. Also, we need that Becca is no longer, so it's good to get lots of use out of this!
My goal with this product is to hit pan on it - this is a big highlighter, so I think this might take me quite a while to do, but I thought I was going to be able to do this by the end of the year. I honestly used this so much and made a huge dent - I have no idea how I didn't hit pan (but it will probably happen soon outside of this project!)
ColourPop Lip Crayon in Z Boys ~ $8.00 US each. When all you need is just a tint. This comfy, hydrating lip tint adds the perfect sheer wash of colour to create healthy, glowy lips.
These lip tint lip crayons were another instant love for me when I picked them up - this made my Favourite Makeup Discoveries of 2019! Z Boys is described as a "sheer peach nude" and the formula is super soft and comfortable on the lips and wear off without smearing everywhere and they leave a pretty tint behind (just a little bit) and reapply really nicely. I have been getting a ton of tinted lip balms lately, so I want to use some of my older ones that I love too!
Okay, this is my absolute worst product in this project - I started with a goal to use it up, then switched it to using half, and I honestly didn't use anything up! I love this product and did use it all year, but lip products last forever! So, whoops!
YSL Touche Eclat Colour Corrector in # 3 Violet ~ $52.00 CAN. Violet helps neutralize dull or sallow skin. Instantly eliminates color imperfections for a flawless skin tone. Convenient one-click brush perfectly & effortlessly targets the problem areas.
This was a concealer that has sort of been forgotten in my collection, but I've enjoyed a violet powder, so I'm thinking that I will enjoy this under my eyes for a brightening effect. This is a nice thin formula and it was comfortable to wear.
My goal with this is to use it up - it's a little hard to judge how much is in here, and I was weighing this at the beginning and my scale broke during the project, so now there is no way to measure it all. So, this still had some in it at the end of the project, but I'm going to toss it as I've had it for a long time and used it all year (I really thought this was one that would be complete!)
Estee Lauder Double Wear Light Soft Matte Hydra Makeup in Ecru ~ $54.00 CAN. A soft-matte liquid foundation, with up to 24-hour wear, that blurs the look of pores for a camera-ready finish that’s lightweight, oil-free, and non-drying.
This is a little blast from the past (I had this in last year's project pan). This formula is described as "matte reimagined" and for me it's just okay - I find it can look a little powdery and slightly dry on me. It's not terrible, but it's just something I want to use up as it's not my most favourite formula, but it's still good - it's also my oldest foundation so time to clear it out.

My goal for this foundation is to use it all up. I tried this last year, but with a constant masking at work policy, I barely used this, so I'm hoping to give it another go this year - I've managed to use a good amount of this so far, but I still have a bit to go, so I didn't finish this up as I hoping!
Hard Candy Eyes The Limit Eyeshadow Primer ~ (sample size shown) full size is $5.98 CAN. Increase the vibrancy and lasting power of your eye shadow by applying Eye’s The Limit as a base layer to eyelids. The crease-proof, extended wear formula prevents fading of eye shadow while maintaining a flawless look all day.
I introduced this to the product in the last update as it is an older eye primer in my collection, this is a decent one, it has a light tint so it blends in nicely with my eyelids - it sets nicely and doesn't crease.
My goal is to use this product up - clearly, I didn't get there, but I did use this a lot and I'm happy with the progress that I did make on this!
E.L.F. Cosmetics Ultra Precise Brow Pencil in Brunette ~ $6.99 CAN. Create full, natural looking brows with this precision pencil. The micro-slim shape defines and fills in gaps to mimic the look of real hair.
I typically have a brow product in my project pan as I have a lot of them. This one isn't that old and it's decent, so I'm looking forward to using it!
My goal was to use this product up - and honestly, I bet if I waited until the very end of the year, this would be done or super close, it is close and I will carry on using this!
Glamglow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow ~ sample size (full size is $65.00 CAN). A daily illuminating moisturizer to give your skin an instant hydrated glow—with hyaluronic acid, green tea, and highlighting pearl particles, your skin will be moisturized, energized, and glowing.
I really like this moisturizer - it's super glowy and bright and it's amazing mixed with a light tinted moisturizer just for a gentle glow to the skin. This also smells so good, but I have quite a few light coverage products, so time to use this one up.

My goal for this product is to use half of it up but the end of the project - I tend to mix this, but I just couldn't get this used up enough to get close to my goal!
Honestly, I'm a little bummed that I sort of petered out on this project. It just felt like I was using the same products for so long and I just lost the steam for it! I think this year I really culled my collection to something that feels very manageable, so I don't think I'm going to carry on with a project pan next year. (Or if I do, it will be a short seasonal one later in the year!)
Do you guys Project Pan?
