Lush Kitchen Subscription Box ~ December 2021

The Lush Kitchen Subscription box is a monthly subscription box full of exclusive Lush Labs goodies made exclusively for the box - every month subscribers vote on the monthly menu of products that they would or would not like to see in the box, so you can help pick what is included in the box! Also, all of the products included in each box will be vegan.

Each month the Lush Kitchen Subscription box is £35 per month + shipping (shipping to Canada is £17.95), so all together the cost of the subscription box in Canada is £52.95 a month, which converted to around $95.00 CAN this month). The subscription will come with 4-5 exclusive products and I think it will include a variety of products that Lush makes; but, will of course be mostly bath and body products.

Lush Kitchen Subscription Box ~ December 2021
I purchased everything in this post

Each month you pay and vote for products that are coming in the following month's box - so for this October's box, you had until September 5 to vote on the products you'd like to see and then payment comes out on the 6th of the previous month. Then, Lush spends the month making the products and ships it out at the end of September so receive it in October!

You do have the option to skip months, which is great - I only get it every few months! The box arrived filled with Lush's usual cornstarch peanuts, an ingredient card, and the a QR code to scan for product details. (Also, this was the fastest this box has ever shipped to me in Canada - I was super impressed and also it was not beat up at all, and I've had a few that looked like they were going to fall apart on my doorstep!)

Here is a closer look at the products in this month's box:

Lush Kitchen Subscription Box ~ December 2021

Lush Berry Berry Christmas Shower Gel ~ Cleanse gently with this glistening emerald infusion. Cranberry and blueberry bring a crisp, fruity aroma to leave your skin feeling vibrant and refreshed.

This is a past Lush Christmas scent from previous collections - it smells delicious, I love a berry scent and the Lush shower gels are a good formula! (Price point for this product is around $10.95 CAN).

Lush Magic of Christmas Fun ~ Release your inner artist by shaping in to your own festive friend. Once playtime is over use as a soap, shampoo, or crumble under running water for bubble bath with juniperberry and zesty tangerine to send your mood soaring.

Can you believe that I've never used a Lush Fun before?! I've received another one, but haven't used it yet - I love that they are multipurpose products that you can use as soap, bubble bath or shampoo. The Magic of Christmas scent is a past scent that is full of clove or cinnamon but it was previously a bubble bar, so this is a new product for the scent. (Price point, this is around $14.95 CAN).

Lush Perl De Sel ~ Warming and comforting, bathe in the classic almond scent of Snowcake as pearls of sea salt release and soften the sweet water.

This is sort of described as a sweet-marzipan scented bath bomb and it's got an interesting pearl look (I'm not sure it's a super pearl look - it feels a little bacteria-in-a-petrie-dish-esque, but I get where they were going). This is a good smelling bath bomb - I'm looking forward to using it. (This would be around $8.95 CAN price point wise).

Lush Buck's Fizz Body Conditioner ~ Bursting orange oil, pink grapefruit decoction and cognac oil this uplifting, moisturizing shower delight will leave your skin soft and glowing.

Okay, so a body conditioner is basically a lotion that you use in the shower and rinse off but your skin will be soft and smooth. This is an interesting scent blend of orange and cognac - it's delicious and can't wait to use this. This is also a classic Lush Christmas scent from year's back. (Price point, this would be around $11.95 CAN).

Lush Coconut Snow Body Lotion ~ This palm-free body lotion sinks into the skin really quickly and has been formulate to be free from synthetic preservatives. Rose & lemongrass oil give it a fresh open floral fragrance with smooth creamy finish on the skin.

This was a past scent that was only available in the Lush Advent Calendar - I love me some coconut scents and this is sooo good, I cannot wait to dive in and use this. I love the Lush lotion formula! (This lotion would retail for around $13.95 CAN).

Lush Sultana Perfume ~ A sweet but earthy fragrance to help you rule with a clear head. This grounding balance of meditative olibanum and mood-boosting bergamot encourage a sense of wellbeing while keeping your feet firmly rooted.

Perfumes this size seem to be a little rare to Lush, although there is a set of 5 retailing for about $85 CAN on their site - I haven't smelled Sultana before, but I love it. I feel like the scent is lovely and I'm excited to use this!

Lush Puzzle ~ Get cozy this season and find your inner piece. This original Lush puzzle is made locally using plastic free, recycled materials. Ethically printed with a double sided bath art design, it's the perfect pastime for Winter evenings. And when you're done? Pass it forward for somebody else to enjoy.

Okay, I love that Lush included 6 products, plus an additional puzzle in here - this is a great little addition to the box and I'm excited to do this!

As a Canadian the shipping cost really adds to the total cost making this just under $100 per month for me. I paid $95.00 for this box, and this month's box his came with over $80 worth of products - a really big value, especially compared to the last boxes.

I will be honest, this isn't a box that you would pick up for a huge value, this is mainly about getting exclusive and retro Lush products! If you are a Lushie, you will likely love this box for the nostalgia and exclusive scents! What do you think about this subscription?
