While the pandemic is still impacting our travel plans, I've been spending quite a bit of the Summer travelling locally. I have family to go visit as well as a cabin we've been to multiple times, so I've been living out of a travel makeup bag for most of the Summer.

During my Summer getaways and living on a very trimmed down beauty routine, I've found a few products that I've been reaching for all the time! When we go to the cabin, we really preserve water, so these products are all about convenience, easy packing, and quick to use!
So all Summer I've been reaching for a great lip balm, a tinted SPF, eye masks, makeup wipes and dry shampoo - here's a look at the ones I've been using all the time!

Dry Shampoo is always a go-to for me (fine hair problems), but I'm always looking for ones that work well, don't leave my hair crunchy and don't leave a white cast - this formula does all of those and I'm super impressed with it. When we are at the cabin, we stretch out our water use, so this is perfect for using while we are travelling. (The only thing that would make it more travel friendly would be if it came in a smaller bottle for easy packing!)
Simple Kind To Skin Instant Glow Cleansing Wipes ~ $8.99 CAN. Gentle on skin, they also help lift away even the most stubborn makeup like waterproof mascara. Our makeup wipes are convenient, quick-to-use and the perfect addition to any makeup bag, gym kit or bathroom cabinet.
So, I don't always reach for face wipes, especially while I'm home, but when I'm on the go, these are the easiest way to take off makeup or give my face a quick refresh in the morning. These are great for the cabin, at a hotel, but would be great for camping or anywhere on the go too. I like these ones because the amount of moisture is quite good, so they are pretty effective at washing my face on the go!

This is a pack of 7 eyes masks, and they are all individually packaged in the box, so they are easy to pack the whole box or just grab one or two to throw in a bag! I love masking all the time, but when I'm away from home, I don't always pack a whole bunch of sheet masks - these are much easier to take along. Personally, these adhere well, I like the material because they don't drip or slip and they help smooth my under eye and add a little brightness!

I know that most people talk about dry lips in the Winter, but seriously I struggle in warm weather with dry lips - certainly need to work on my overall hydration, but in the mean time, I am reaching for a moisturizing lip balm. I was recently sent this one from Paula's Choice and it's so good - it's amazing in Summer, because it's got this cooling metal applicator that adds to the overall experience. The formula is nice and smooth, not thick and adds the perfect sheen while being super moisturizing on the lips!

Is there anything more multi-use than a tinted SPF?! This already made my Favourites in July, so clearly I love it! I wear SPF every single day and I tend not to wear much foundation or base makeup when it's hot out, so this is the perfect product! It has an SPF of 50 so it's giving me lots of protection and it's adding just the lightest hint of colour overall to smooth out my skintone and cover redness. I love the sunscreen formula and so this is great overall!
