I've picked up a few, fun ColourPop products lately and ended up with some really great products that are perfect for Summer!
I purchased everything in this post - this post contains affiliate links
I was looking for a new tinted moisturizer and have been wanting to try the ColourPop one for a while. But also, how adorable is this little Hello Kitty quad?! It's so cute, plus there were some other fun products for a bright Summery look!
I ended up loving the whole look I came up with all of the products - the orange shadows were so good, I loved the lip oils and the coloured liners are so pretty! Here's a look at all the products I recently picked up, swatched and then I will share more details about the finished look!
ColourPop Pretty Fresh Tinted Moisturizer in Light 8 N ~ $14.00 US. Show more skin. This hydrating tinted moisturizer has skin-perfecting, lightweight coverage for fresh, healthy looking skin.
This is a nice, light-weight coverage tinted moisturizer - it's always what I'm reaching for in the Summer, something to smooth out the redness, but still keep my natural skin showing through so it looks nice and natural!
Tinted moisturizer is the only complexion product that I apply with my fingers - this is two pumps of the product smoothed over the face. I like the finish of this product on my face, but it felt a tiny bit tacky, so to me it was best finished with a setting/finishing powder.
ColourPop Hello Kitty Teenie Kini Shadow Palette ~ $12.00 US. Every body is a kini body! Create the most fire looks with this warm orange palette featuring 4 vibrant shades in matte and metallic finishes. Includes a convenient mirror and the cutest Hello Kitty designs!
Okay, how cute is this little quad?! I love orange eyeshadows, so I had to give this one a try! (Also, Hello Kitty is so adorable!) I like the mix of mattes and metallics and the shade range is also good - light to dark, and the darker shades are both mattes.
Also, I have the Orange You Glad? 9-pan orange palette and I think this is different - the shimmers are different and the deepest shade is much more orange. (Just in terms if you are curious how they compare).
Beachy ~ metallic rose gold
Hula Hoop ~ matte bright orange
Itsy Bitsy ~ matte true red
Sand Castle ~ metallic red orange
I love the shades in this and I loooove the metallics, the rose gold is really pretty applied and they are prettier than in the pan!
Here's a look at the eye look I created with the Teenie Kini palette - I used the Hula Hoop shade through the crease and Itsy Bitsy to deepen the outer corner. Then I applied Sand Castle to the lid and Beachy in the inner corner. I finished the look with Hula Hoop along the lower lash line.
(I also used the Ice Breaker line on the lower liner as well).
ColourPop Creme Gel Liner in Untz ~ $7.00 US. Neon Orange - The same pigmentation and long-lasting, transfer-proof wear of our Crème Gel Colour liner in a pencil!
ColourPop Creme Gel Liner in Ice Breaker ~ $7.00 US. Pastel Mint - The same pigmentation and long-lasting, transfer-proof wear of our Crème Gel Colour Eyeliner in a pencil!
I've tried the Creme Gel Liner formula before, usually in more neutral colour. And since I like it so much, I thought I'd expand it so I can start using more fun colours in my waterline to make eye looks pop!
The orange is described as a neon orange and I would think it's more of a medium orange/coral. I love the pastel mint colour of Ice Breaker and it worked really well with the orange look.
I love the formula of these and the colours of them - they are both great!
ColourPop Lux Lip Oil in Hot Spark ~ $8.00 US. Get a sheer kiss of colour with this nourishing lip oil packed with antioxidant rich Chamomile & Calendula oils.
Hot Spark is described as "Neon Coral" and I'm already a fan of this formula - it's made my favourites earlier this year, so I knew I had to pick it up in more shades!
The formula of this is really nice - it's nourishing and softening to the lips while adding a glossy finish and just a light wash of colour.
Here is a look at Hot Spark on me - adds just a hint of colour while finishing with a nice glow!
And, another look with all the products on! I have the Pretty Fresh tinted moisturizer on my face, the Teenie Kini shadow quad on the eyes, the Ice Breaker liner on the lower lash line and the Hot Spark lip oil on my lips!
I've been keeping my ColourPop orders smaller in the last couple of years, but I'm really happy with everything that I've picked up lately!
