Happy Manicure Monday everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend - this was my first weekend home in a while and it was so nice to be home and have a relaxing weekend!
The OPI polish was received as a PR sample
I also finally had a little time to paint my nails and get a little nail art going - it's been about a month since I've been able to paint my nails for fun and I'm as happy as these little dudes on my nails about it!
For all of July and August the #CBBxManiMonday group is featuring Summer nails - I've been doing lots of bright colours all Summer because that's exactly what I think of when I think of Summer nails!
- Bio Sculpture Ethos Oxycoat Base Coat
- OPI Tempura-ture Is Rising! polish
- Orly Instant Artist Lacquer in Crisp White
- Innisfree polish in #203 Woody
- Orly Instant Artist Lacquer in Jet Black
- Moyra Stamping Nail Polish Top Coat
For this manicure I started with a bright coral base - this is a thinner polish and needed 3 coats for an opaque base. Then, using the white nail art polish I created the circles for the happy faces, and then I painted over them with yellow (the white underneath just helps the yellow pop on the coral!) With the black nail art polish I created happy faces and eyes and they face everywhere! Then, I topped with nail art top coat and voila!
As always, make sure to check out Cosmetic Proof and Prairie Beauty Love to see their Summer nails too!
