October 2020 - Monthly Favourites!

Here are the top 5 products that I was loving in October:

There is a little mix of everything this month - a couple of eyeshadow palettes, skincare, a setting spray and bath products!

Here is a closer look at the products I was loving this past month:

October 2020 - Monthly Favourites!

Kaleidos Cosmetics Futurism VII: Sashimi City Eyeshadow Palette ~ $24.00 US. Dynamic, cosmopolitan salmon delicacies. Saunter down a lively boulevard and soak up the vibe while indulging in renowned specialties. Includes four muted mattes, one sumptuous multichrome, and one savory sparkling duochrome.

Kaleidos has been on my wishlist to try this year, and I was really excited when they released this gorgeous neutral palette and the formula is just as lovely as everyone says! It's soft and blendable and so nice! I won't say too much about this because I will be reviewing this soon, but the formula is awesome and I love that it is an easy to use, go-to neutral palette!

Pat Mcgrath Labs Eye Ecstasy Eye Shadow Palette - Subversive ~ $38.00 CAN. A curated collection of five cult-classic shades unlock the secrets of McGrath's backstage kit in hues and texture that apply in a single saturated swipe. These hybrid cream-infused powder formulations release infinitely smooth and extremely blendable pigments for seamless color transitions with unprecedented buildability. FĂȘte your eyes with uninhibited colour that structures, designs and defines with incendiary flashes of pearl and dazzling effects.

I picked this up on a whim because it was on sale at Sephora for $19 and I do not regret it at all - the formula of all of these shadows are gorgeous! They are super creamy and pigmented! I used this in a Shop My Stash look in September and in my Halloween look - the colours aren't my normal everyday shades, but they are easy to use and such a beautiful formula (I even went back and bought the Sublime mini because it's on sale as well!)

October 2020 - Monthly Favourites!

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Multi-Recovery Complex ~ $130.00 CAN for 50ml or $95.00 CAN for 30ml. New fast repair and youth-generating power: the next generation of the super serum that reduces the look of multiple signs of aging.

This is such a nice smooth almost gel type serum - they have revamped their formula, and the previous formula was lovely, but this one is great! It's a patented fast-penetrating serum that is meant to reduce the signs of aging and leave skin looking smooth, bright and even. I can certainly vouch for the brighter, more even skin tone and I feel like everything is feeling clear and super smooth! I'm really enjoying this - it's also something I plan on getting a more detailed review of up soon!

Skindinavia The Makeup Finishing Spray - Oil Control ~ $29.00 US for 4 oz. Our oil control finishing spray gives you a soft matte look while holding makeup perfectly in place. This anti-budge fine mist spray will keep your makeup flawless for 16 hours.

Alright, I have a slight faux pas - I try incredibly hard not to repeat products in my Monthly Favourites, and I've actually been pretty good about it. But, I just realized that I JUST featured this in my June 2020 Favourites, so clearly it's really good, but whoops! So I loved it in the Summer because it was great when it was hot out and with a mask and I specifically chose it for this month because we have been under a mandatory mask order at work for a while now and this has been really great under a mask and ya - I guess if it's featured twice in a few months, you know it's good! (I've also raved about the Bridal setting formula too, but Skindinavia is definitely my favourite!

October 2020 - Monthly Favourites!

I don't typically include single use bath products in favourites, but these were too good not to share. I did a huge post on all the bath bombs I bought from Winston and Walter and they are huge and incredibly detailed and so unreal! I know I haven't used this particular one, but I have used them and this one is in the Nanaimo Bars scent and it smells so amazing. These are handmade and the detail is so good - you won't be dissapointed if your looking for a spookyish type of bath bomb with serious lasting and scent power!
