Five on Friday - November 20, 2020

Happy Friday everyone! I hope you all have had a good week - we went from my husband isolating this week to the next day my older son isolating after being exposed to covid at school, so it's been a week and I really feel like it's been a bit emotionally exhausting, but we are all still healthy and doing well, so I guess that's all I can ask for!

ONE

The book was received as PR, everything else was purchased by me

I don't always share a lot about astrology here; but, I'm a pretty big believer in astrology and if you read about a Scorpio it pretty much describes me perfectly! So, it's the last couple of days to celebrate my Scorpio time and here is a few things I've been enjoying this month for the ocassion:

I'm always a little sad to see the Scorpio time to go; but, I guess everyone else needs a little spotlight time too!

TWO

This past weekend we went to meet Santa - I wasn't quite sure how Santa was going to go this year so I booked something early so we could get a Santa meeting. Elliott is just getting in to the Santa thing and is so excited, so it was a really great time to meet him. We booked through the Calgary Ultimate Santa and it was an amazing experience and they had a good meeting to talk about toys and stay far apart and it was amazing. Plus, Santa has a clear mask on and you can hardly tell - Elliott also had his mask on but was allowed to take it off for photos!

THREE

Well, I'm finally a grown up and I ordered pictures for my family room! I used BestCanvas.ca and I was incredibly impressed with the quality and these shipped really fast. These prices cannot be beat - I ordered 24x36 and paid $48 each (these are $250 on Londondrugs where I normally order my pictures from!) and they turned out really good! (Also, ignore that the rest of my decor includes a skeleton and trampoline - that's toddler life).

FOUR

Did you guys know that Scentsy came out with a Disney Villains line?! I had to resist picking up the warmer because she was pricey; but, I did have to pick up the Disney Villains Wax Collection ($26.00 CAN). They are so cute and they smell delicious!

FIVE

Here are the palettes the week that I've been using for the past few weeks! I started with the Pixi Beauty Hazelnut Haze palette - I did a review of the palette here and it's good and easy to use! I like it! Then I used the Pat Mcgrath Labs Eye Ecstasy Eye Shadow Palette - Subversive and these shadows are amazing! This palette just made my October 2020 Favourites and I'm so impressed with these! I also used the e.l.f. Bite Size quads I picked up a while ago and I actually think they are really good - I will be sharing reviews and looks soon! And then, I used the most beautiful palette of them all - the Natasha Denona Triochrome palette, which I just reviewed here and I love this palette!

I hope you all have a great weekend!
