I tried a dry mask last year for the first time and I really loved it - there is something so easy and convenient about using a mask that doesn't leave a residue or serum behind on the face. But, the ones that I've seen are all a little pricey, so when I cam across one at Shoppers Drug Mart I had to give it a try!
I purchased this mask myself
Add-on Beauty Selfie Glow Dry Mask ~ $20.00 CAN. Apply this mess-free dry mask after your usual skincare routine. Our patented Vectorizing technology allows the transport of active ingredients deep into the Dermis of the skin.
This is a dry mask and it can be used up to 4 times, so it works out to about $5 CAN per use! This mask uses mango seed butter, shea butter, and apricot kernel oil and it uses unique "vectorization technology" that is scientifically proven to deliver all the active ingredients in to the skin as you wear the mask for 10 minutes. (These masks are made in Canada too!)
This mask is pretty straight forward to use - wash and dry face, apply printed side of the mask to the face, massage mask gently to activate and wear the mask for 10 minutes, return mask to package and re-use it up to 3 more times!
This does have a softly printed side to apply to the face - it also has ear slits so the mask stays snug on the face every time you wear it!
I thought this mask was pretty good - it felt comfortable all four times that I wore it and was easy to use. I thought my skin looked nice and refreshed after wearing this. I'm certainly curious to try the other masks in the line too. I love the convenience of not having serum left over some nights, or this could be quickly used for a refresh during the day as well.
The only thing I would have like was to bottom chin area just sort of hung there, I think the Charlotte Tilbury one had a chin strap that really adds to the secureness of the mask. But, overall I did enjoy this!
Have you guys tried a dry mask before?!
