Manicure Monday - Essie Expressie and Pink Stamped Macarons

Happy Manicure Monday and Happy Family Day! (Or, at least that's the holiday here in Alberta - I think this is a Provincial holiday so not everyone recognizes it!) I'm always happy with a long weekend!

Even though Valentine's Day has passed, the #CBBxManiMonday group is keeping up the theme of Red and Pink nails for the whole month of February. I raved last week about the Essie Expressie formula - it's really lovely! 


So, I picked up 2 polishes in this formula because I was curious about how a shimmery polish would be in comparison to a creme polish. And, this worked just as well - it wasn't as thick, but it dried down quickly and applied nicely.

• Maniology stamp and scraper  

I decided for a macaron stamped pattern today because I am actually attempting to bake french macarons for the first time today (wish me luck!) My older son has a tourism project due this week that involves them bring food from a destination they want to travel to, and we love macarons, so this should be a fun way to spend our Family Day!
