Happy Easter Skincare Sunday everyone! So, I picked up these Yes To Paper Masks quite a while ago and have been holding on to the waiting for the perfect time to use them! Earth month seems like a perfect time to use them!

Yes To products are all made with at least 95% natural ingredients, they are paraben free and made with recycled ingredients! They are also leaping bunny certified. Also, the products are affordable and found at most drug stores, so they are accessible too!

I have to say, I haven't tried many products from Yes To, and I think the packaging of these masks is so cute!

Skincare Sunday - Yes To Grapefruit & Tomato Paper Masks

Yes To Tomato Paper Mask ~ $3.99 CAN. Formulated with tomato extracts and salicylic acid, the single-use Yes To Tomatoes Paper Mask works detoxify and clean pores.

Yes To has a whole bunch of different lines that target different skin concerns and Tomatoes is all about targeting acne prone skin. This mask uses tomatoes and salicylic acid to control pimples and blackheads and I used this when I had a couple of active breakouts.

This mask is straightforward to use - wash face, apply toner, unfold mask and apply to your face, wear for 10 minutes and remove. Pat remaining essence in to skin and complete skincare routine.

The fit of this mask is not pretty - the material is thick; but, not overly thick; but, it just does not fit well in to the contours of your face. This one had a decent amount of essence, but, it was pretty uncomfortable to wear. This tingled like crazy on the skin - I was very surprised. I've used a lot of tingling products before; but, haven't got the effect from many masks. This also made my eyes water a bit.

I did wear for the full 10 minutes and wasn't sure with the results. My skin was not hydrated after, but the next morning my open breakouts may have been slightly reduced, so the mask must have worked that way. I'm just not sure wearing it was worth the minimal results. If you have sensitive skin, I can see you feeling uncomfortable wearing this. Overall, not a mask I really enjoyed using, which is very unfortunate!

Yes To Grapefruit Paper Mask ~ $3.99 CAN. Yes to looking on the bright side with grapefruit and a vitamin C boost to help skin look aglow and refine pores so you are selfie ready in a snap.

The Grapefruit range is to brighten dull and uneven skin. This mask uses grapefruit and vitamin C to refine pores and help skin glow and I used this mask when I was really tired and my skin needed a boost!

This mask was just like the Yes To Tomato mask to wear; but, this one came with a little * on the back that says *Too much tingling? Take it off. I was a little concerned that this one was going to tingle more than the Tomato mask...

There is no question, this mask fit even worse than the Tomato mask - it's the exact same cut; but, this one came with less essence and it hardly adhered to the face. I will say, this mask smelled amazing! It was a perfect grapefruit scent, so that helped while wearing this! This mask tingled too (although, I do not think as much as the Tomato). It's a little bit uncomfortable trying to figure out how it's brightening my face while tingling away!

I did wear this for the whole 10 minutes. My skin looked fine after wearing this; but, it wasn't noticeably brighter like I've seen from other masks. My skin also felt a little tighter after wearing this. Again I'm just not sure this mask was worth the results.

Unfortunately, the Yes To Paper masks just didn't do it for me! I have heard really good reviews on their mud masks and bubble masks, so I plan on giving those a try!

  1. First off, i love your blog. Its super cute and fun. I just recently found out all the benefits from grapefruits. I started adding them to my diet in the morning. I will definitely try this mask. I always love a new facial care product.

  2. Ughhhh why won't they change the fit of their paper masks??? Bubble was definitely better, but OMG. The tingle is AWFUL too and my eyes were also watering. When I spoke about this on my IG stories, their social media team told me to contact customer service if I was unsatisfied LOL

    1. Yes, the fit sucks and it's such a weird reaction and it even warns you about the tingling! I do want to try the bubble masks!
