August 2018 What I Bought - Monthly Haul!

I'm back to my regular introduction to this Monthly Haul post - My name is Renee and I'm a Shopaholic! Okay, but really, I went slightly over budget this month! There have been so many amazing releases this Summer! 

I love these Haul posts; because, for me it's a way of sharing everything I pick up throughout a month - honestly, I buy so much stuff that if I don't share it here, it might not pop up until my empties post! Let me know if there is anything you want to see a full post on, just let me know and I will do it!)

Also, I do "try" to stick to a monthly budget of $100, and these posts are supposed to keep me in check! I can go a little crazy sometimes with new things though - why is there so much new makeup being released all the time?! I will only include products I have spent money on - gifts and freebies are usually shared on posts like my Five on Friday posts!

Here is a look at everything I bought in August:

Wet n Wild Order ~ $102.37 CAN. Oh man - Wet n Wild is affordable until you throw in that $25 shipping with the exchange rate! I really thought this Fire Dragon vs. Ice Dragon set looked amazing (I'm a pretty big Game of Thrones fan and this gave me all the vibes!). Then, I picked up 2 things from the Zodiac collection - the Scorpio lipgloss and the loose highlighter. The scorpio bag was a freebie! 

Facebook Buy & Sell ~ $20.00 CAN. Alright, this was a sort of on the whim purchase - I knew this Pacifica eyeshadow palettes came in an Ipsy bag; but, I thought it looked pretty! So, I also picked up a mini Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara, a Mac Primer, and a Fenty Lipstick from the same seller!

Ebay Wine Lip Tint ~ $4.19 CAN. How stinkin' cute is this Labiotte Chateau Wine Lip Tint?! It's sooo cute - I love wine so obviously, any makeup made to look like wine is a win for me! 

Scratch Monthly Mani Kit ~ $20.11 CAN. I love this little subscription - these wraps are always some of my favorite and the Lemon Zest wraps are super cute! I also love that this came with a striping tape dispenser with the striping tape! You can find out more about this subscription here! 

Instagram Buy ~ $15.00 CAN. I was so excited when I came across this Charlotte Tilbury Bar of Gold Highlighter for sale from a fellow blogger on instagram - this is sold out $50 highlighter! It's so pretty! 

Sephora Order ~ $69.30 CAN. I was so excited to see this Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturizer come in to stock at Sephora Canada (this is the mini size!) as well as this Becca and Glamglow We Know Glow set - this is a pink highlighter and mask. The add on code was 3 foundation samples from Dior, Make Up For Ever, and Hourglass and my 3 freebies are from Ren, Verb and Grande! 

Tutti Frutti Ulta Order ~ $192.52 CAN. I was really excited for the Too Faced Tutti Frutti collection to be released - it was a little bit of a pain that it was only available on Ulta to TooFaced.com as we have to pay exchange and higher prices. But, I really wanted to try both eyeshadow palettes, the banana powder and a blush duo - I wanted to pick up a few other things but thought I would wait to see the reviews. I was also excited to put in an Ulta order because I really want to try out the Memebox I Dew Care masks (also, this is super weird that Memebox is it's own brand because I used to be obsessed with their subscription box!)

Makeup Revolution Order ~ $36.31 CAN. I think Makeup Revolution is now just Revolution; but, I haven't tried anything from this brand before and I was so excited to see them partner with Emily Noel as she is one of my favorite youtubers and it seems like a really genuine collaboration! This eyeshadow palette is actually quite different compared to what I have in my collection, so I can't wait to try this out!

Superstore Finds ~ $0.00 (originally $27.25). Good thing I used my Superstore PC points for this purchase! I really went there only to pick up a waterproof mascara - going to a wedding means I'm going to cry! And, then I noticed my Superstore has finally stepped up a few brand sections including Essence and I really wanted to try some of the Out Of Space polishes and the Make Me Brows. They even had the brand new palettes I was tempted by, but I left them (for now!)

Facebook Auction Find ~ $6.00 CAN. So, I scooped up this little set from a Facebook auction - I really wanted the Peripera tint water; but, am really happy with the Ofra blush and will happily use the mascaras and eyeliner! The powder and lip pencil will probably be passed on. But, $6 is such a good deal!

So, in August I spent $465.80 - big whoops to that amount! There was just too many releases that I couldn't pass up!
