Viseart Petit Pro 1 Eyeshadow Palette - Review, Swatches and Makeup Look!

I have been wanting to try Viseart for forever; but, it's quite an expensive brand - it's hard to justify spending $100 on a palette without having tried the brand before! Also, I love when brands have mini palettes; because, I love travel size palettes and they are so cute an easy to come up with shadow combos!

Viseart is a high-performance makeup line that uses the best of plant-based natural resources with modern technology to create quality makeup that naturally enhance the skin! Again, this is a high quality brand and there palettes are not inexpensive, but if they are high quality then I wouldn't hesitate to buy more from the brand!

Viseart EyeShadow Palette Petit Pro ~ $40.00 CAN. ($30 US). The Petit Pro Palette is an 8 pan eyeshadow palette that contains flawlessly blendable color. These eyeshadows are in smaller "Petit PRO" packaging ideal for artists or makeup lovers on the go. This palette contains versatile pigment and rich colors in both matte and shimmer textures, curated from our heritage Parisian formulas to create stunning day to evening looks.

I love the shades in this palette - they are gorgeous. It is easily a day-to-day shadow palette, but can easily transition to night makeup looks as well.

This is a perfect travel sized palette - I would take this on a trip with me and not need anymore shadows. I would be able to create a variety of looks and feel like it is very versatile! I have seen some complaints that this palette is too small for the price - but it is a similar size to the Too Faced Chocolate Chip palettes ($32.00 CAN) which is not good quality or the Tarte Tease palette ($30.00 CAN), which has 6 shadows. I'm fine with the size of the palette for the price personally!

The top row are all beautiful matte shades ~ Vellum, Tawney, Merlot and Cappuccino. And, the bottom row is all shimmers ~ Starlight, Medallion, Copper, and Scarlet. All of the names are pretty self-explanatory (Except for Scarlet which is definitely a purple!)

All the shadows are soft and smooth - especially the shimmers! The mattes blend really easily. I really like the pigmentation of the shadows, they aren't too in your face pigmented that they are hard to blend and have a really buildable colour. The shimmers are less pigmented when applied with a brush, but go on very bold with finger tips! I'm a huge fan of this palette - I have been using it non-stop and it already made my Monthly Favorites for October!

I loooove how these shadows apply - for this eye look I tried to use as many of the shadows! Vellum is all over the lid as a base shadow, Starlight is just lightly under the brow bone, Tawney is the transition shade in the crease, as well as a really light touch of Cappuccino in the crease, Merlot is lightly in the outer corner and I used Medallion on the inner lid and inner corner, Copper as the middle lid shadow and Scarlet on the outer lid!

This will easily be one of my go-to every day or night palettes! Very happy with this purchase!

  7. I didn't know they were plant based. $40 isn't bad when you think that you spend $60-100 on bigger palettes and only use a handful of shades.

    1. That was my thoughts too - I always tend to go for the same shades and that is exactly what was in this palette!
