Esqido Mink False Eyelashes - "BFF" and "Voila" Try-on and Review!

I love the look of false eyelashes; but, I'm not really amazing at application so I tend to go without lashes. Now, the problem might be that because I'm not amazing with falsies, I tend to buy inexpensive ones that have thick, hard to apply bands and that's making my problem worse!

I know I'm rambling a little, but what I mean is maybe if I splurge on higher quality lashes made with higher quality materials I might have an easier, more enjoyable false lash experience! Enter Esqido Mink Eyelashes

Esqido Mink False Eyelashes - "BFF" and "Voila" Try-on and Review!

Esqido Mink Eyelashes are said to be "the softest, lightest, and most natural looking false eyelashes you’ll ever wear". Esqido lashes are made with naturally shed mink hair for the softest and finest texture. The band is a hand crafted cotton band that make them easy to apply and comfortable to wear all day!

Esqido offers an impressive variety of lashes - from the lightest Little Black Lash, that adds a touch of glam while still looking incredibly natural, to the full voluminous look of Nebula or Amp It Up, that offer a huge, bold eye look, and everything in between! The Classic Collection are more staple lashes that offer a harmonious curl and an elegant look. The Noire Collection are all about the ultra-bold look featuring a voluminous, multi-curl lash look. And, the Signature Collection are lashes created with makeup artists.

I chose two different lashes from the Classic Collection - BFF and Voila. While these are both classic lashes, they offer very different looks!

Esqido False Lashes "BFF" ~ $29.00 US ($38.00 CAN at Holt Renfrew). Designed for ladies with natural medium to long lashes, each individual strand on these mink false eyelashes subtly overlap for a lustrous and heavenly effect. These falsies are so unbelievably natural looking, you'll take her with you, everywhere you go.

These are super soft - I think these are my first mink lashes! The certainly feel my luxurious than the typical material used for lashes (or again at least the inexpensive ones I have tried from the drugstore).

The BFF lashes are considered a 3-4 out of 5 for volume and measure between 8-12 mm. I personally have naturally long lashes, but they are not very full so these seem like they will be the perfect go to lashes for me!

I love these lashes - they are actually a little bit fuller than I was expecting; but, they are beautiful! You can tell the difference of wearing a cotton band - it is much more comfortable to wear!

Here is a look at my lashes Before and After (before is only 1 coat of mascara):

These offer great volume and and fullness! I think they really complete any makeup look!

Esqido False Lashes "Voila" ~ $29.00 US ($38.00 CAN at Holt Renfrew). Designed for ladies with natural medium to long lashes, each individual strand on these mink false eyelashes subtly overlap for a lustrous and heavenly effect. These falsies are so unbelievably natural looking, you'll take her with you, everywhere you go.

These lashes are huge - so bold and full of volume! I love them! Again the mink is super soft and the cotton band is very comfortable feeling!

The Voila lashes are 4-5 out of 5 for volume and measure between 8-12 mm. They are certainly longer and bolder than the BFF lashes. They are a little fuller as they overlap slightly, where the BFF do not.

I love these lashes - I know they are quite bold and full; but, I don't think they still look good. I prefer a very full lash look like this to lash extensions because they are equally long and full making them look a little more natural looking! Because these are so long, these can take a little bit to get used to, but they are very comfortable.

I personally love how these look! These may be too bold for some people, but make sure to check out the range of lashes from Esqido - they have so many different styles!

Here is a look at my lashes, and BFF and Voila compared to each other:

I'm very happy with how these lashes applied and wore! They are on the pricier side; but, if well cared for Mink lashes can be worn up to 25 times, which makes the price worth it!

Esqido Companion Eyelash Glue ~ $10.00 ($12.00 CAN at Holt Renfrew). Introducing ESQIDO "Companion"; our invisible eyelash glue with strong all day hold. Specially formulated for mink lashes and latex-free, it's a gentle mixture that extends the life of your lashes. With a fine tip wand, you'll be able to apply the right amount of glue to your false lashes, every time. Suitable for any type of false eyelashes.

This glue applicator is awesome with the little brush tip! The only lash glue I have tried has a squeeze applicator which made it really hard to apply an even layer - this brush on the other hand applies quick and easily! Also, this bottle of lash glue is huge!

Overall, I have never taken such good care of eyelashes before! I followed Esqido's guide for application, removal and care. I made sure to trim these lashes to fit my eyes - these lashes are quite long so make sure you trim them to fit your eye shape! Also removal care is important - make sure you dissolve the glue prior to removal, be gentle with the lashes and clean up prior to storing back in the case!

Again, these are on the pricier side for false eyelashes, but if comfortability and longevity are important to you, these are worth investing in! The amount of wears you can get out of these would surpass the disposable, cheaper lashes! Just make sure to care for these properly and they will last a long time!

  1. I think I would like BFF lashes. I love lashes, they complete a look. Have you tried House of Lashes glue? I love it, but it's hard to get off your eyelid. I was wondering how the Esquido glue compared. http://www.mrsqbeauty.com
