Mask Wednesday - Boo Bamboo Sheet Mask "Hydrating" Review

Happy Mask Wednesday everyone! Charcoal in skincare is all the rage right now (does that saying make me sound old?! - either way, it is definitely the skincare trend right now!) And for good reason - activated charcoal draws out toxins and impurities in the skin for a bright and clean complexion!

Mask Wednesday - Boo Bamboo Sheet Mask "Hydrating" Review

This mask is straight-forward to use: wash face, smooth mask on to face, relax for 10 to 20 minutes, remove mask, and massage remaining essence in to the skin.

I love the material of this mask - it is super soft and smooth and goes on well! It fit well and had enough tabs so that there was no air pockets or spots on my face that were not covered with the mask. The mask came with a good amount of essence and lasted for about 40 minutes on my face (you don't need to wear it that long, but if I have the time I love to let as much of the essence absorb as possible!)

This made my skin feel really great! The essence was hydrating and my skin was noticeably softer after wearing this! I also loved that it was natural, cruelty-free and Canadian! I will happily buy this mask again - they also have anti-aging, pore-refining, and brightening masks and I would love to try them all!

  1. This mask looks great since charcoal tends to dry my skin out. Sounds like the other ingredients balance it!

    1. The other ingredients definitely balance out any dryness from the charcoal!
