Fingers crossed that everything gets sorted out with Canada Post soon - I still haven't gotten my Ipsy or Topbox this month as I know everything is going a little slower. But already I have gotten emails from all my subscriptions regarding potential delays in July! Boo!
ONE
While I am still waiting on quite a few things in the mail, here are a couple goodies I did get this week!
I won a giveaway from the lovely Samantha Jane - I am excited to try the Make Up For Ever Aqua XL liners! The reviews have been really great and this purple liner is so pretty!
I also got a good little haul on a Facebook auction - all of these goodies for only $12! I really want the highlighter trio and I originally got it with my Ipsy points (but since my bag needed to be replaced, they ran out of the highlighters!)
TWO
This past weekend was my husband's 30th birthday, and it happened to be on the same night as the Game of Thrones season finale. We have both read all the book and are pretty big fans of the show so it only made sense to have friends and family over for a Game of Thrones inspired party!
Here are some of my favorite recipes I found for this party:
- Bread and Salt (straight from the books, and time consuming but sooo good!)
- Candied Bacon Baked Brie (holy moly this is so good!)
- Ham with Cloves, Honey and Dried Cherries (really good ham!)
Also, how awesome did that cake turn out?! I didn't do it, we just ordered the cake from Dairy Queen (my hubby loves icecream cake) and I was so impressed with how well the Direwolf was drawn!
THREE
Speaking of Game of Thrones , what did you guys think of the finale?! I was worrying about this season without the books to go by, but I thought it was really good!
Now I really need George R.R. Martin to get the next book out!
FOUR
While one show ends, 2 new shows start! This week Amazing Race Canada and Big Brother started up again! I love seeing Ms. Universe on the Amazing Race and this summer's case of Big Brother is already full of drama - will make for some good summer t.v.
FIVE
I just also received the July Anxiety Aids subscription - how cute are these stickers?! Renee always has the best stickers and I love her sense of humor! I am loving these stickers!
I am trying to cut down on my spending so I probably will wait a couple of months before I get another sticker subscription, but this will be the one I get again when it is time!
