Monthly Beauty Favourites - June 2023

Here's a look at what I've been loving this past month:

The Paula's Choice was a PR sample - this post contains affiliate links

Last year I started just picking any number of products I'm loving, instead of trying to find 5 each month (which I did previously!) So, whatever number of products I'm loving, that's what I will be sharing.

I've been slower at using and trying out new products, so naturally my Favourites have been on the smaller side lately (and I'm totally fine with that) - here's a closer look at what I've been loving this month:

Paula's Choice 5% Niacinamide Body Serum ~ $29.00 US. A lightweight body serum made with 5% niacinamide + 5% d-panthenol that targets patchy, uneven tone and rough, flaky texture while restoring a healthy skin barrier.

Glow Jar Beauty Pineapple Body Oil ~ $38.00 CAN. Indulge in the tropical paradise of our bestselling Pineapple Body Oil and experience the difference it makes in the health and appearance of your skin. The moment you apply it, you'll be transported to the tropical paradise of sandy beaches of Hawaii with its heavenly scent. This lightweight, non-greasy oil absorbs quickly into the skin, sealing in hydration and leaving you with a smooth, radiant, and nourished complexion. Our unique formula combines the power of plant oils, known for their antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties, essential for healthy skin, to soothe and soften dry, irritated skin.

I have to put these together because I have been using these together - they are a bomb combo! The lotion is a gorgeous lightweight lotion and the oil smells amazing. I mix two pumps of lotion with a dropper full of lotion and it's good for 1/3 to 1/2 of my body - leaves my skin hydrated, soft and smelling amazing!

Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Pride Polishes ~ $9.79 CAN. Pride & Shine with our NEW Limited Edition Sally Hansen Insta-Dri x GLAAD Collection. Featuring bold and bright shimmer shades inspired by the Pride flags, this limited edition collection stands for authenticity and inclusivity. Mix & match for Insta-Pride at your fingertips! Sally Hansen and GLAAD are proud to celebrate PRIDE together with new SHIMMER shades inspired by the Progress Pride Flag.

I picked these up earlier this month and I did pride polishes all month - I loved these shades, the more I use the Insta-Dri polishes, the more I love them. These had a hint of shimmer and they were amazing with two polishes. Plus I can paint and stamp over them right away! You can see them in action here and here

Yves Saint Laurent Nu Bare Look Tint in shade 7 ~ $54.00 CAN. This flexible, multitasking skin tint has a water-cream texture for up to 24-hour hydration and leaves skin naturally enhanced with a radiant finish. Infused with glycerin, hyaluronic acid, and brightening mallow, this makeup-moisturizer hybrid melts into the complexion for an effortless no-makeup look. The foundation’s tube is made out of 30 percent post-consumer recycled material. The outer pack is made out of FSC-certified (Forest Stewardship Council) cardboard to support forest management that respects people and nature.

This has been on my wishlist for a little while and I'm so excited I was able to pick it up from Shoppers with points - this is a lovely tinted moisturizer. It evens skin tone and texture while letting my skin show through. I will say that it's a gorgeous, light-weight texture - you only need a little to even out skintone and it blends in nicely and wears well all day. I'm loving this tint - it's worn well on 16 hour work days, wears off nicely without looking patchy and so far has managed in warmer weather. I really love this! You can see this on me on my review post here

Benefit Hoola & WANDERful World Duos mini Bronzer & Blush duos - Hoola Beach Vacay ~ $32.00 CAN. These slim line, on-the-go palettes each feature Benefit’s award-winning Hoola bronzer plus a WANDERful World blush in fan-fave shades. Hoola bronzer instantly warms up your complexion with a natural-looking matte finish, and it’s buildable, blendable, and silky-soft. Pair it with your blush shade for smudgeproof, sweatproof color that builds effortlessly and blends seamlessly.

I think Benefit is mostly known for their brow products, but their face products are top tier. I pick up these limited edition palettes because they store much better than their regular square packaging. I've never used Hoola before and it's a great easy bronzer. The blush Shellie is a gorgeous shimmery blush that gives him the perfect Summer glow! You can see it in action on the same post as the YSL!

What were you loving this month?!

  1. I adore the scent and fruit pineapple so this body oil is now wishlisted for me!
Also, Benefit blushes are some of the best! The started focusing on brows a lot, but I agree that their face products deserve some love too!

    1. If you are a facebook marketplacer the oil will be up there because it was in the Jilly Box so some people are selling, but either way it's lovely!
