Manicure Tuesday - Pride Non-Binary Flag Nails

Happy Manicure Tuesday! I hope you all had an amazing weekend - we were at the cabin and got home late, so just playing a little bit of catch up here!

I purchased everything in this post - this post contains affiliate links

I always look forward to June, since like last year, the #CBBxManiMonday group is switching it up a little bit this month and the theme is Allyship - June is both Pride Month and Indigenous History Month. Each week we will be sharing manis based on our allyship with these causes (or any other causes we each feel are important to highlight!) and sharing resources to help draw attention to, informative information or agencies in our areas that are assisting people.

This month, I started with Pride rainbow nails, and I might try and use this month to highlight different groups in the 2SLGBTQI+ (Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, and additional groups). This week, I'm highlighting the non-binary flag colours - yellow represents people whose gender exists outside the binary, purple represents those whose gender is a mixture of—or between—male and female, black represents people who have no gender, and white represents those who embrace many or all genders.

The products I used for this week's manicure are:

For this manicure, I started out the with the a base coat and two coats of purple polish as the base - the using nail art polishes (or brushes with any polish) I painted three stripes on to each nail with the different colours in the flag order! Then, finished with a nail art top coat.

As a highlight for a company doing great work in Calgary with the 2SLGBTQI+ community is the Calgary Centre for Sexuality - they offer support, education, training and counselling!

Make sure to check out Cosmetic Proof and PBL Nails for their always amazing manicures!
