March 2019 Monthly Favorites!

Here are the top 5 things I've been loving this month:

This month has such a perfect mix of products - a face mask, moisturizer, foundation, lipstick, and eyeshadow palette! I feel like some months I have such a wonky mix (like 3 palettes or 3 serums) and since I don't aim for any type of balance and just pick my favorites no matter what, I usually end up with a pretty random mix. So, it's so nice to see it look nice and balanced this month!

March 2019 Monthly Favorites!

Revlon ColorStay Full Cover Foundation in 150 Buff ~ $20.99 CAN. Revlon ColorStay Full Cover Foundation provides an amazing, full coverage perfected look that lasts all day long. This foundation easily glides onto skin and blends seamlessly for an even, matte finish. Featuring a uniquely velvety texture, it’s formulated to provide all-day hydration, leaving your skin feeling moisturized and always looking fresh.

This is a fairly new product in my collection; but, I have to say, it's been a long time since I fallen in love with a foundation so instantly! I have used this every day since getting it so I do have really thorough thoughts on it! It's a very neat texture - it almost feels whipped, or as Revlon refers to it as velvet. It applies really softly and nicely; but, dries down nicely and doesn't stay tacky at all and it wears all day - well around 10 hours without breaking up on my combo skin! I have noticed it can disappear from the nose a touch, so I'm careful with my powder; but, this has been great and I love the coverage!

ColourPop Creme Lux Lipstick in "Ariel" ~ $8.00 US. LUX it up. Enriched with our LUX Blend of hydrating butters, this creamy, long-wearing lipstick glides on the lips with rich pigmentation in a comfy, lightweight formula.

Ariel is described as a "peachy beige nude" and it's so perfect on for the perfect Spring shade! You can see it in my ColourPop Disney Princess collection and I've just been using it so much - which is saying a lot; because, I don't wear a ton of lipstick! It's a really comfortable formula and it's a beautiful shade!

Urban Decay Naked Reloaded Eyeshadow Palette ~ $58.00 CAN. An essential Naked palette, featuring 12 all-new eyeshadow shades that redefine neutral with Urban Decay’s signature formula.

This is a newer product in my collection too and I've instantly fallen in love my this palette! I've actually recently declutter my Urban Decay naked palettes as they were getting a little old and the formula wasn't quite where it was before. Also, I had decluttered some neutral palettes so this was really filling a void. Plus, this is a fantastic palette - the shadows are beautiful and the mattes are super blendable and the shimmers are beautiful. There are a couple of chunky shimmers that need a little work; but, overall the palette is gorgeous. I think it's a little warm, a little cool and a whole lot of lovely! I will have a full review in the next week or two. Also, can we mention that the price went down on this Naked palette from $66 to $55 and I love that!

March 2019 Monthly Favorites!

AmorePacific Moisture Bound Intensive Serum Masque ~ $35.00 CAN for a package of 2 masks (or 6 masks for $120.00 CAN). A unique two-in-one ampoule and masque that provides the instant hydration, firmness, and radiance needed to create a photo-ready finish.

This is technically an end of March favorite - this mask came in a pack of 2 and I used them both in March, once at the start and once at the end. You can see my full thoughts on my review post. This is a 2 step mask that comes with a little vial of ampoule to apply first and then it's a gel mask that's slightly sticky so it applies really well to the face and stays on! My skin just felt super hydrated and looked brightened and plumped! The results were worth the splurge this mask is!

Biotherm Blue Therapy Red Algae Lift Up Cream ~ $89.00 CAN. Firming velvety rosy cream to HEAL VISIBLE SIGNS OF TIME Uplifting power with the precious Red Algae. With age, fundamental collagen and elastin fibers decline significantly. Biotherm biologists captured the healing power of nature with Red Algae, in Blue Therapy Red Algae Uplift. It visibly helps reinforce the skin’s youthful structure: contours appear re-defined, skin feels firm, smooth and looks radiant.

I received this from Topbox Circle a while ago and have not stopped using it since I've received it! I usually don't use the same moisturizer for day and night; but, this is one is just so good for both. It's got this illuminating sheen to it and it's comfortable to wear all day and isn't heavy on the skin, plus it's hydrating enough as a night lotion too (and this was used during the coldest spell of Winter). I've made a good dent in it and that's a good credit to this product - because I usually try something for a while and move on, where I have not been able to move on! My skin loves rose based products and has just looked healthy and smooth with this!
