Manicure Monday - Eclectic Coral Stamped Floral Nails

Last week's nails were called Coral Floral nails and that's pretty much what I wanted to call this week's nails too, so I switched it up just a tiny bit so you know how creative and original I am around here...

We are sticking to the Coral theme this week for our #CBBxManiMonday round up - it is the Colour of the Year after all! I really wanted to up my stamping game, so I decided to stamp with shades of coral this week, and the little accents and polka dots give these nails a little eclectic look! 

I will be totally honest in that these nails did not turn out how I wanted and I'm not really sure that I like them; but, I only have time to do my nails once, so there is no re-dos and the longer I wear them, the more the grow on me. The biggest problem is that the one nail wrap nail was supposed to have more flowers to time the colours in (you will see in the products I used picture that there is a big clump of flowers, unfortunately my nails weren't long enough!)

The products I used for this week's mani are:

-Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear in Caribbean Coral

-Morgan Taylor in Beauty Marks the Spot

-Nanacoco nail polish in "Romantic Cruise"

 -L.A. Colors Art green Deco polish 

-MoYou London Enchanted Collection 09 Stamping Plate

-Scratch "Bloom" nail wraps 

-nail dotting tool (not pictured)

I only had 2 single nail wraps left - one for each hand; but, I can't just toss them so I always save them for an accent nail! So, I just applied one each to my ring finger.

For the rest of the nails, I started with nail cleanser, base coat and 2 coats of the lighter coral polish as the base. Then using the darker coral, I stamped on a floral/leafy design. Then using the blue and green, I just dotted a few small dots all over. I finished everything with a top coat.

Again, it's not my favorite nails this week - but the more I think of them as eclectic and a little different, the more they grow on me! If I was more of a perfectionist, I would have redone these and never shown them; but, I am okay with admitting that "ain't nobody got time for that" around here (and, if I'm being honest, I'm a little envious of anyone who does have that time!)
