Sephora VIB Rouge Sale Haul - Holiday Goodies and New Products!

Ooooh - I just love when it's time for the Sephora VIB Rouge sale! I didn't purchase anything from the extra sale in August, so my wish list was getting rather large for this sale! 

There have been a lot of good releases and I have been trying to not buy everything - I actually think there is a lot of holiday items that I'm not getting this year; but, I always have to get a couple of things! 

November 2019 What I Bought - Monthly Haul!

Time for a look at everything I picked up in November - I really love these Monthly Haul posts - they give me a way to share everything I pick up each month as I don't always post about everything I get!

For 2019, I put myself on "stricter" $100 a month budget, not because I need to; it's actually to be more conscious about what I purchase. I also really want to make sure that I'm enjoying and using everything on my collection! But, over the past couple of months, I got a little less strict and went over budget! (I still think I'm being a little more thoughtful in my purchases while I go overboard!)

The Body Shop Haul ~ $32.55 CAN. How cute is this little banana shampoo and conditioner set?! It's called "Go Bananas" and I love it! The shampoo and conditioner are my favourite and the little banana towel is super cute! Plus, I wanted to pick up the Vitamin E mask to try it again as my first experience wasn't the best with it. 

Fresh Beauty - Holiday Gift Sets!

'Tis the season for all the Holiday Sets! These are some of my absolute favorite ways to try out products from brands you love! Also, the bundle together best of products and are nicely packaged so they make a great gift for anyone in your life! 

Fresh is one of my Favorite Skincare brands - they have amazing masks and their sugar lip treatments are hands down, the best lip products ever! So, I am always excited to see the sets they come out with for the Holidays! 

While Fresh Beauty can tend to be a pricier brand, their holiday sets come in a great range of prices so you can find something in every price range that will guarantee to make someone happy!

I have a good mix of skincare and makeup products from a mixture of large and small brands! I know there is a ton of amazing Canadian brands out there and I can't touch on them all here, which is why I'm focusing on only the products that are currently in my collection! I've used other amazing products from great Canadian brands in the past and they are still loved!

Guerlain Meteorites Light-Diffusing Perfecting Primer ~ sample size shown (full size is $85.00 CAN). For skin that seems lit from within, apply this smoothing liquid to clean, moisturized skin as an essential first step in any makeup routine.

I just shared this on my 21 in 2021 Project Pan - I finished this as much as I could before there was no more getting out. This was fine; it has the distinct Guerlain scent and the primer was fine. This is older and discontinued now.

Five on Friday - November 20, 2020

Happy Friday everyone! I hope you all have had a good week - we went from my husband isolating this week to the next day my older son isolating after being exposed to covid at school, so it's been a week and I really feel like it's been a bit emotionally exhausting, but we are all still healthy and doing well, so I guess that's all I can ask for!

I don't always share a lot about astrology here; but, I'm a pretty big believer in astrology and if you read about a Scorpio it pretty much describes me perfectly! So, it's the last couple of days to celebrate my Scorpio time and here is a few things I've been enjoying this month for the ocassion: 

November 2018 What I Bought - Monthly Haul!

I love these Haul posts; because, for me it's a way of sharing everything I pick up throughout a month - honestly, I buy so much stuff that if I don't share it here, it might not pop up until my empties post! Let me know if there is anything you want to see a full post on, just let me know and I will do it!)

Also, I do "try" to stick to a monthly budget of $100, and these posts are supposed to keep me in check! I can go a little crazy sometimes with new things though - why is there so much new makeup being released all the time?! I will only include products I have spent money on - gifts and freebies are usually shared on posts like my Five on Friday posts!

Sephora VIB Rouge Shopping Haul #1 ~ $84.00 CAN. Ya, there are multiple shopping hauls for this sale - there was lots I wanted to try! Clearly there is a lot of Bite Beauty - I wanted to try the Agave Lip Mask (I'm running out of mine and heard this one was amazing), plus I also really had to try the Bite Beauty Scorpio lipstick (you can see my review here), and I also picked up the 2018 Birthday gift by Bite! 

December 2018 - Monthly Favorites

Hello end of the year! I will be doing my 2018 Yearly Favorites as well in a few days; but, I always think that favorites feel incomplete without doing December! So, here is what I was loving in December:

Bite Beauty Astrology by Bite Limited Edition Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Scorpio ~ $30.00 CAN. A limited-edition shade of award-winning Amuse Bouche Lipstick, created for the zodiac sign Scorpio. For sexy Scorpio, Bite mixes up a bombshell fiery orange-red. This searing, spicy shade is made for hot dates.

This is a limited edition shade, and it's no longer available on Sephora; but, Bite Beauty still has some on their website! This is an orange red, and honestly I wasn't sure how it was going to look on me; but, I love it! I have been making an effort to wear this out multiple times since I got it! My husband even told me that he doesn't like bright lipstick; but, he likes this shade on me too! The formula is long lasting, and I just need a quick blot so that it doesn't get on my teeth!

ColourPop Haul ~ $71.17 CAN ($52.20 US). I have resisted quite a few of the Colourpop monochromatic palettes, but when the Orange You Glad palette was released, I couldn't resist! So, I also picked up the yellow Uh-Huh Honey palette, a couple of lip crayons, and a couple of zodiac Scorpio shadows!

Happy May everyone - can you believe we are in the month of May already?! Aaaannnddd, Alberta just announced tougher lock downs because we are having crazy covid cases and the rates compared to the rest of the country is crazy! So, just trying to stick it out a little longer and stay positive! I hope everyone is doing well.

I was really hoping to go for a facial this Mother's Day for a relaxing day, but, of course with new restrictions, that is not going to happen at all! So, I planned ahead in case and ordered this lovely Super Mom Box by XO Treatment Room! Everything is made by the owner Annie, and she has fabulous formulas! This comes with everything you need for a relaxing spa night it: cleanser, microfibre cloth, super mask and brush applicator, nighttime facial oil, bath soak (or scrub), a candle and a do not disturb sign. So many goodies, all for $200!

ColourPop Haul ~ $23.21 CAN. I was very excited when ColourPop announced a day of free international shipping, so I had to pick up a Jelly Much shadow and a Glitterally Obsessed (which I thought was for eyes; but, it says body glitter...) Anyways, I will still use both of these soon!

Wet n Wild Order ~ $102.37 CAN. Oh man - Wet n Wild is affordable until you throw in that $25 shipping with the exchange rate! I really thought this Fire Dragon vs. Ice Dragon set looked amazing (I'm a pretty big Game of Thrones fan and this gave me all the vibes!). Then, I picked up 2 things from the Zodiac collection - the Scorpio lipgloss and the loose highlighter. The scorpio bag was a freebie!
