Here is a look at my beauty garbage from April:

Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Powder ~ $8.00 CAN. The Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Powder is a loose powder that helps absorb oil and excess sebum.

I just finished this up in my 20 in 2020 Project Pan - I've had this since 2015 and it was time to use it up. It's not a bad powder, but I'm just not super in to loose powders in my routine anymore. This was super fine and I thought it creased under my eyes a little.

Five on Friday - April 24, 2020

Happy Friday everyone! What a strange week this has been - I've been working from home for the week, and was just back to work today. My husband started feeling sick over the last weekend and he had to self isolate and get tested - we were told yesterday that he does not have Covid-19, which is great. We didn't think he did; but, with the nature of our work, it's always better to be safe! But, it's made for a bit of a crazy week!

Everything in this post was purchased by me, with exception of the NYR gift

The strangest part of this week was that it was Elliott's 3rd birthday yesterday! I had fun plans for a birthday party, and then we just hard to celebrate with the four of us. It was fine and Elliott was happy, but it was just a hard adjustment! So, I made some adorable Spiderman cookies and cupcakes to help my little Peter Parker celebrate!

December 2019 Empties & Month in Masks

Here's a look at my beauty garbage from December!

Morphe Highlight & Contour Beauty Sponge ~ $10.00 CAN. A latex-free makeup sponge perfect for applying liquid and powder formulations.

This sponge was really hyped up when I first picked it up - this is just too stiff for me in terms of a sponge. I do really like the flat edge, but this just didn't work for me. When I picked up a beauty blender again, it was a relief. This didn't apply my makeup well at all.

Cozy Winter Self-Care Night

I'm the type of person who talks big about self-care (because I truly believe in taking care of yourself); but, as soon as I get busy or overwhelmed I tend to forget everything I preach. I have been extremely busy with work and life since November basically, and I've had to force myself to do nothing and take some time for myself - and seriously it is the best decision I've made!

I thought right before the holidays was the perfect time to talk self-care! I know this is a really busy time and people feel pretty stretched - I also know with some time off around the holidays, I feel even more pressure at work to get everything done before I have the time off. I know I'm not the only one who feels this way too!
