Happy Manicure Monday everyone - I'm so excited to be back doing my nails after a hiatus last week while I was away at the cabin!
The China Glaze and Bio Sculpture were received as PR samples
Since we decided to keep up the Summer theme for August, I thought it was only fitting that I try the nails of the nails of the Summer - Glazed Donut Nails!
But, I didn't want to buy a bunch of new things and I've tried an eyeshadow nail polish look before so I decided to do that for this week's mani and it turned out pretty good I think! (Plus, I've been gone for the last two weekends and broke a few nails over the week, so I needed something quick and pretty on my short nails!)
The products I've used for this week's nails are:
- Bio Sculpture Ethos Topcoat
- China Glaze polish in Hey, Chardonnay, Hey
- Clionadh Cosmetics Iridescent Multichrome shadow in Luminaire
- Essie Gel Couture Top Coat
This manicure was pretty straight-forward - I started with a base coat and a single coat of a light shimmery white polish as the base. I let that dry well and then using my finger, dipped in to the eye shadow and pressed on top of the nail for an iridescent finish. Then, I finished with with top coat and voila, a nice shimmery glazed donut nail look!
