Terra Moons Cosmetics was on my list of brands I wanted to try this year, so when they came out with a couple of exclusive sets with Urban Outfitters earlier this year, I had to pick one up to try them out!

I was really hoping to pick up the shimmery set; but, it sold out super fast, so I picked up one of the neon sets and was excited - I don't have any neon pigments in my eyeshadow collection and I'm excited to have a few to incorporate in to my looks!
Terra Moons is an American BIPOC indie brand - it is a latina woman owned brand. They are mostly known for their lovely duochromes, multichromes, and chameleon shadows and those are up next for me to try!

This set comes with four pre-existing pressed neon pigments in the Terra Moons line, just packaged together in a set for Urban Outfitters. I think it's a great way to make an indie brand a little more accessible to the general public for more people to hear about and try the brand!
The shadows in this set are (swatched top to bottom):
Terraverse ~ a bright pink magenta neon
Just A Phase ~ a medium green blue neon
Lunar Haze ~ a violet blue neon
Neptune's Waves ~ a deep blue neon
These shadows are all nicely pigmented and they are gorgeous shadows. Neons are notoriously harder to work with - they don't blend the same way, so they can take a little more time to get the pigmentation in the right spot. I find that patting these on and lightly layering them really helped and using an eye primer as a base. I thought these looked nice and bright on the eyes!
I had a lot of fun using this for a full neon makeup - it's very different than most looks I've done, and probably not something I would do often, but it's so fun! I will likely incorporate these shadows individually in to looks, but they are bright and fun together!
For this look, I used Terraverse in the crease, Just a Phase on the inner half of the lid and Neptune's Wave on the outer half of the lid. I finished the look with Lunar Haze on the lower lash line. I had so much fun with these neon shadows!
I had so much fun playing with these neon shadows from Terra Moons - I enjoyed these and still am planning to try some shimmery multichrome shadows from them this year! Have you tried Terra Moons yet?
