ONE
I purchased everything in this post
Monday was May the 4th and as a Star Wars geek (as well as I geeky family), I love us to pick up little treats for the fun occasion! Also, I'm trying to support local Calgary places and Ollia makes the cutest macarons so I couldn't resist trying out their little Star Wars set that came with a Baby Yoda and a Stormtrooper! So cute!
We thought they were delicious!
TWO
While going for a drive to pick-up my macarons, I also ordered some Village Ice Cream (you know it's good when I my husband orders 3 of the same kind - it's the Earl Grey ice cream btw). My teenager also said the Melted Chocolate was the best chocolate ice cream he's ever had, and I'd concur that the Nanaimo Bar is delicious! If you are in Calgary, this ice cream is a must try!
THREE
Speaking of local, I just got my second free issue of Avenue Magazine in the mail - this always comes with lots of great local Calgary food and restaurants! At the start of the quarantine, the announced 3 free issues, so I subscribed right away!
FOUR
While enjoying my day to myself this week, I finally got back in to my digital scrapbooking (I'm years behind, but I have been making yearly albums) and it felt amazing to get back in to! I actually managed to finish a year and order a book for myself and it felt amazing! I've promised myself that I at least get two or three hours in a week because this is a hobby that I have loved forever!
FIVE
I am so excited about Lush announcing a subscription! It's through the Lush Kitchen, so it's based out of the UK so it's a little expensive with shipping; but, it's where they create fun and really unique products - so it sounds like everything is going to be exclusive in this box! I'm really excited!
I hope you all have a great weekend!
